I played the DLC in NG+ and it was challenging. However, with a proper build, maxed out weapons and blessings, I was able to beat all of the bosses 💪🏿👊🏿 Therefore, there's no reason for players complaining that the game is too hard. This game gives you many different tools to beat these bosses.
I thought most people started DLC with ng+ since most people finished it before at least once. I started dlc with ng+3 and finished it, and i was lvl 340. It wasn't difficult honestly except the last boss where i had help

I feel like so many new players I couldn’t get ahold of veterans and get full insight I’m NG+2 and started a new character just to do the DLC I haven’t started because I have over 300HRs on my 1st character and playing again the whole game is difficult when you’ve done it too many times. Now I’ll play it with my NG+ build
I just got to NG+1 in the DLC and I think the scaling is insane. The base game main bosses in NG+1 were pretty easy, where as in the DLC, it feels like Im fighting them with 0 fragments once again. Thats how insane the scaling is. Every attack takes 50% of my HP, most attacks two shots, Im level 220 with 65 VIG, Im wearing the Crucible Knight armor and I have maxed out all 20 fragments. There must be something wrong here. Maybe Im supposed to be double the leveI am for NG+1 DLC, I didnt level up much in base game NG+1. But I also read somewhere theres a separate scaling for the DLC, apparently DLC+. Do you know how that works? I wanted to try soloing the bosses this time around in the DLC but it seems that everything is 10x times stronger now in NG+1 DLC :( Makes me so sad. Bosses are way to agressive and have insane long combos, for me its not even enjoyable anymore. How can anyone play this DLC 0n ANY NG+ cycle. It feels almost broken, it cant be intended to scale like this. It just cant. Is every attack even from normal enemies supposed to two shot? Im also asking to see if Im actually missing something maybe. Thanks alot
I started from ng+5 with 468 character. Game is near impossible because the dlc starts at your NG level. Bosses kill me in seconds. Way harder than seen in how to videos
@@chaosinfernoid9008 If you are at NG+5 in the base game, you start the DLC on NG+5. The DLC was made harder because it requires you to get the blessings, but the max blessing boost is 2.00, while the bosses are +5. I think it was written assuming most people will only be + or +2.
Maxing out blessing really made the difference, especially the early parts of the DLC, it's somewhat similar as NG+ in Stormveil with an sl120 - 150 character compare to when you first get there in NG with a new character.
On my ng+2, the dlc for the first time was a breeze. But on my ng+3 doing the dlc for the second time, holy smoke was it hard. Idk y it scaled so much the second time around, but i 100% the game, so whatever. But yesh it was a little ridiculous.
LVL 400 doing the DLC for the first time on a character thats on NG+3.. Shit has been brutal but the only boss I have left is Bayle the bitch. Even with the cheesiest tank builds or "one hit" builds I cant beat him.
If you use the royal great sword against the blackgaol boss at the beginning of the dlc, he's a joke. Folks probably knew that but just in case for a quick tip. It absolutely wrecks him.
I used the broken build of fingerprint shield and mohgwyn trident most of the time in this game. for the final fight i tried six different builds but ended up beating it with fingerprint and trident again. it's just too good. i guess i can do it in ng+ lol

The dlc itself is quite a bit harder than the main game but ng+ isn't too bad compared to ng. If you find it getting difficult just explore and find more blessings. Like I said there are guides online that show you where all the blessings are. Blessings more than make up for the difficulty increase

Started at ng+3 at rl168. Boy I got my ass kicked. Looking back at it, I think I shouldve bumped up to 180 or 200.

Scadutree blessings are useless. Bosses still one shot 2 shot you regardless. I’m at level 20 and I’m still doing tiny damage 💀

It’s harder if you don’t have any scadutree fragments , once u get all 20 blessings is about the same as base game bro
