I lived in CA for 22 years and they have had a homeless problem for decades now and it’s gotten much worse in recent years. Got to be the worst in the country.

Mild weather exacerbates it. We took a Christmas vacation to Daytona Beach in Florida last year and the number of homeless and panhandlers was a bit concerning. Nothing like California, though, no camps or anything that I saw.
Those people are professional beggers, they usually have a luxury car or suv not far from where their open air offices are located.
I live in La and I take to skid row all of my friends when they come to visit LA and also a celebrities , which they have a lots of followers on social media to show the world the real america. My friend asked me after the trip to skid row where is the president? Why the official not doing something about it 😂 some of their friends said we always wanted to visit USA especially LA but they glad they never did and they said they will never waste their money to travel to usa anymore.

I live in Houston. We're already overpopulated. Yet, I've seen so many California, Michigan & Florida state license plates recently. It takes me an hour to get to work! People are tired of the BS so their moving.

As someone over 65 (with no substance addictions, mental health problems, or any of the typical causes) who has recently become homeless, I can attest to the facts that the suffocating regulations in all types of business plus the authoritarian management of an economy struggling with Covid added to policies that attract and incite homelessness are the salient reasons for California's unique situation. The resulting anomie is from decades of left-wing theoretical mismanagement. It's all yours, Dems!
