- You never know what you will catch in a creek in Texas!! This creek trip was crazy, with monster catfish and monster alligator gar. It is crazy how BIG these fish get, in such a MUDDY, CITY CREEK!

The risky casts always produce the best fish. Always. That was a gorgeous blue. I love catching a fish with some character (battle scars).

Man those are great fish catches there.... I have a place that I used to fish in Texas that's a fork off of a lake that I have caught big hybrid Strypers and Largemouth bass in and lots of fairly big catfish..I haven't been there in about 10 years but I know it has to still have awesome fishing in..it's by what others have called a small spillway power plant but it's hard to get too with all the grown up Johnson grass and weeds..I have actually heard the local cops try to run people off from there but not sure about..it's close to Fort Worth city limits on the East side of town.

you do, but they are shortnose gar, and dont get much over 5-10 lbs! and yall have some big longnose gar too, those can get nearly 5 feet!

When you say "urban" it looks nothing like the "urban" of my life-long experience here in NYC. When I watch, I'm looking at what we city folks call "country" whether or not you have a bridge. (And as for bridges, yeah that's a bridge, but it's not the George Washington, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Triboro...)
