Definitely miss the live shows but I understand the need for John to have a real job and be focused on that. Hopefully someday soon he’ll come back even if it’s only on occasion.

I was watching the last Fassbender/Fincher movie on Netflix (not even sure that I can write the title here because UA-cam has gone so 🍑) when I remembered and felt what you said about streaming media: I just wasn’t experiencing the movie in the same way as I would if it was a 4K. They have told me since the late ‘90s that movie theaters are “just a few years away” from dying. But it will happen eventually, and it will be even worse than the death of physical media.
Does anybody know where John has been?
He went as long as a human could without a real job, now he's making up for the years he relied on ad revenue and fan donations

Some of these Barbenheimer people could care less about at least one of the films. Both films had two different groups of interest. They just saw both because it was a cool social media fad.
Oppenheimer was my most anticipated movie of the year but I was also very interested in Barbie. I think your right when it comes to general audiences but hardcore movie fans like myself are excited for all kinds of genres/tones in film.
I like real movies like Oppenheimer.

Tom hollands Spiderman movies suck the best one is 3... And what is the best part about 3. Sam raimis Tobey Spiderman and Andrew Garfield getting a second chance as spidey. Tom Holland great guy, ok actor, mid Spiderman movies that relies on other heros in all 3 of his movies. No way they are better than raimi even his Spiderman 3 has more heart the love triangle between Peter harry and mj is great

when I saw Barbie the theater was filled with women in pink. The crowd loved the film and laughed loudly throughout it. I just enjoyed Ryan Gosling and Michael Cera though

I really liked Barbie and didn’t see it as a message movie or “liberal feminism” like one of your viewers comments reflects. It is beautifully made and worth the watch just for the handmade sets. Kate McKinnon was hilarious and John Cena as a mermaid was everything I wanted. Give it a try.
