The show was hilarious in the first 5 seasons, and then it took a nosedive when they started focusing less on the four main characters and relying too heavily on the guest stars. It became less realistic and the humor seemed contrived. Nevertheless, the first 5 seasons were the best. IMO, it was as funny as Friends.
Starfire I agree, as much as I wanted to love Leo and Grace and low key kind of did , Grace marrying Leo definitely threw off the energy of the show. However , I always felt like that was supposed to be intentional , more realistic of Grace not bein able to have it all and how life and certain relationships get in the way of friendships. Honestly, I remember the episode where Will & Grace aren't speaking to each other and Jack & Karen were able to get them both together to come to their gay friends daughter's bday party . The last scene when W&G are in the bouncy house talkin is the exact scene where you can feel everything change between them. Every episode after that you can subtly feel the divide between them and the culprit of that divide was Leo🤷♀️. Nonetheless, it still remained a great show! However, I was readin an article Burrows did and he stated that Harry is coming back to play Leo ( they didn't ask about Vince). He also said that they are writing as if the last episode that aired never happened. So basically their kids never go off to college, they never meet each other , there's no bittersweet moment between W&G. If I can find the article, I'll post the link , it's a good read.
