- This episode we feature "The Ugly Duckling", Andre Cargill's 1995 Nissan S14 240SX. Originally this was one of the baddest KA-T Nissans in the country, its next step in evolution consists of a VQ35HR Swap as a base with future plans to swap a VR38 R35 GTR short block for 1100+WHP and a BMW DCT Transmission. This is without a doubt one of the cleanest s-chassis nissans we've ever seen, over the past 15 years there was no bolt left untouched during the restoration of this beautiful S14. Watch along to learn about Andre and his build the Ugly Duckling.
The owner of the car looks like he could be freshkiicks brother lol
That does NOT sound like a VQ
Way rather see this than a 2j in it.... or an LS. Do something different, keep the Same brand power plant!
One of the coolest car guys ever. Andre has been a huge part of Baltic supra also. This 240sx is beautiful
Nissan and kept it Nissan, that’s I’m talking about..
My guy said stock short block??? For 800whp??? Impressive but I don't know how long it can live there lol
This dude the Denzel Washington of 240’s
A vq swapped s chassis is something you don’t see everyday, nice build!
What is an ordinary 240sx? Lmao
Who came here after seeing freshkicks is vq swaping his s15
FreshKiicks when he is older and still repping for the HRs :0
15 year restoration??? Damn i wish i had that kind of patience and dedication
Love the attention to detail, both mechanical & cosmetic.
Equal length manifold, that's the secret of that VQ sounding so good
Andre is a joy to listen to. Really is a wizard with these platforms.
This is one of the dopest swaps ever and I’m glad to see him keep it in the Nissan family.
That vr38/dct setup is gonna be crazy when it's done .
I appreciate that it doesn’t sound like a normal VQ😂 best sounding one I’ve ever heard
hyped on that vtc delete he engineered... props!
Super clean build! Wow! 🤩
