- I wanted to check out eBay's new sneaker authentication service so I bought a bunch of sneakers to find out if it's any good! In today's video I try to find the best sneaker on eBay for $200 and get it authenticated by eBay!

Probably the yeezy seller was asked to send their shoes to ebay to get authenticated and they got scared and bailed out on you

Lol it’ll only make reselling more prominent. The prices determined by supply and demand. Call up Nike and Travis Scott if you want your pairs to be cheaper.

Stock X prices you need to add at least 40-50 dollars in fees to get real price

Thanks for this video! I was super curious as well. This makes me feel a lot safer buying from sellers who don’t have THOUsands of reviews or like 99.9% feedback. another plus is that you don’t always have to pay the shipping and processing fees that stockx and goat have
The authentication thing is cool. Also remember that eBay has buyer’s protection for fake product. That has been a thing with eBay for a while.

Would’ve liked to see a vintage or an older Jordan retro purchased in a conditional state. Would’ve liked to see how eBay handled them during authenticity check and see if it came back as shown on the original listing. I heard once the shoes are purchased, eBay cuts communication between the buyer and seller?
I've been purchasing all my sneakers from eBay for almost the last year. I'm pumped to have this new authenticity service. i just hope shipping is still as fast as it has been in the past.
Same man, eBay since '06 and only recently started buying shoes this year (Yeezys). The authentication is the reason I went to eBay for resale. I like kicks but don't get into the waiting and lottery thing. First pair I got were the Cloud White 350s and they were ✅
Plenty of legit sellers (that's the key) over the last 15 years. Bought everything from new game systems, to trading cards, athletic apparel, and more.

Shiid I've literally bought and sold hundreds of sneakers on ebay, only got burned once (metallic 5s) and that was before I knew fakes were a thing (early 2000s)

Not if you buy bigger sizes, lot of drops go for around $200 and you can make a deal for less sometimes

So I bought dark mochas on Jan 1. It still says package not received. shipping label has been created but I can’t even message the people because eBay restricts it when you are doing the authenticity guarantee. It’s been two weeks almost!!! I’m pissed man I can’t get through to eBay. Any suggestions
been using Ebay for sneakers for years. It's great for vintage stuff that people don't appreciate enough but it's not great for hype shit. I've never been duped with a fake ever.

I’ve bought about 4 pairs of shoes from eBay recently (all over $300 except 1) great deals and delivery have been ridiculously fast

The only authentic shoes I got were from my visit to KSA with limited colour ways.
No way to tell if I'm holding an original or a copy.

SETH! I bought the smoke grey jordan 1’s off snkrs and last week I sold them as DS. eBay said they could not authenticate my shoes, asked no questions, asked for any details, nothing. Case open, refund, I get my shoes sent back to me, case closed. Is this right?
I was never worried about ebay. Locally its hard to find a store with size 14 and 15 shoes for me. China dont even bother making fakes past size 13 so that is another plus for me.

I just buy ones on eBay from my shoespot store and I just putting on my feet inside and the shoes decreased instantly. The store block men and eBay not allow me to return the shoes because the shoes is authentic but is visual obviously is damage I pay 115. I feel robbed. Unbelievable.

Does ebay send you tracking info? I am having a pair of jordans being authenticated and ebay is just showing being inspected for 3 days. And the original shipping shows delivered so just curious if they send the buy another shipping notification

Why do none of the new dead stock Yeezys or Jordan’s I list on eBay for $200+ ever get the blue authentication guarantee? I’m a top rated seller for over 19 years and have sold hundreds of pairs.
In my opinion eBay is only good for used kicks, most ds stuff is more money than stockx or the same as stockx after the fees, but with stockx you get a safer authentication service. I’ve gotten some killer deals on used kicks though!
