People saw that fight and was like:
"Hell yeah lets mess with this guy again."
Did not expect you guys to react to this. One of my all time fav shows.
Season 2 was good but it struggled due to a long break via covid and a semi-complicated storyline that used a lot of plot points from S1 that people got confused with easily. Even Season 1 uses plot points through out that might confuse some watchers feel like "wait how?" when they are referencing something earlier in the season.
Also I find it a dick tease you cut the vid off right before Misha said "misfit" lol.
Yeah that's why I struggled and dropped S2 after a bit. S1 had it's confusing moments but overall I was able to follow the plot and when I couldn't, I was able to hold out until Anos explained exactly the thing that had caused the confusion. S2 on the other hand... after 5 episodes I was still pretty lost, felt like I wasn't able to keep up, and dropped the show. Which is unfortunate because I REALLY liked S1.
@@blakeverdon4492 Yeah a lot of people were like that. I literally put off the show after the long covid break until it was finished for fear I would forget everything week to week and then binged it all so it was fresh in my mind lol.
@@Timmycoo Hmm, I forgot about S2 for the same reason. MIght be a good idea to binge it when I have time.

I like that Anos never tries to hide who he truly is, its just that other demons refuse to belive him

Really love to see you guys reacting to this anime. I get why some people say "Stay clear of season 2", because it can be very confusing sometimes. But on the other hand, once you figure out what's going on, the feeling of "Ohhhhhh I get it now" feels so good that in my opinion it's still worth to watch.
Nah Season 2 was good just they had to discontinue at that time due to Covid complications but good for binge watching. They have completed season 2 as well so if you think it's worth a try then do give it a shot.
Season 2 isn't finished yet, there's still a part 2 coming out this year
To be honest I don't like the season two. The story is leaking 😢

as i said in the announcement post, it's a bummer you guys aren't doing season 2 as well. season 2 is good but well, you need to remember stuff from season 1 which causes skill issues in a lot of younger anime fans

S2 was worth it.
The emotional side of Anos does touches by that season.
In the manga, Anos told Zeppes he was planning on killing him 10,000 times which made Zeppes flee in terror
When Anos Voldigold was born, he drove his parents to the hospital.
YESSSS LETS GOOOOO. the strongest character in fiction finally makes his appearance
honestly, this is definitely one of those anime where the dub did it better. Anos's voice in the dub is reeeeaaalllllly deep and smooth, and it fits perfectly

season 2 is fine, it's just very story heavy and very light on the action scenes, you could probably watch it on your own so you keep up with events before they do a new season.

Second season was great. The story requires undivided attention from the start, that's all. Clearly too much attention for some if they re saying only to watch the first season.

This anime is everyone's guilty pleasure. It's so trash and nonsensical but it has it's own weird charm.
I assume people are telling them to not watch season 2 due to the cliffhanger. I haven't finished it myself, but all I want to really see is the return of a certain disgraced character, upset she can't end herself.

The teacher turned lowborn. I loved when she showed up at the MC's home during the purge, begging the MC to just end her life already. The highborn are rejecting her, but because she knows what she did to the lowborn, she can't bare to live among them.

She eventually finds her resolve to live thanks to the MC, much much later.
Anos got to teach stuff haha. And he is only at a 10% max of his former power for now

I admit this anime are 10/10 rating....Amazing interesting series but it just some parts are too much for me...Doesn't make sense especially story goes....plus the mc being TOO Too...much OP kind of not my type...He's a great character tho.
Yeah for a lot of people, they don't understand the story and a re-watch is generally needed to understand. It does make sense in the long run. And if you know what Anos' role is as the Demon King of Tyranny, you know why he's so OP.

S1 was so good for this show. But I think once they canceled the OG Anos VA and brought in the new guy, I lost all interest. He just sounds so bland and boring.
Season 2 was a hard watch even for me. Best stay clear.
First season is funny, second is pathetic, good choice.
Now watch the new Isekai anime, "INSTANT DEATH"
People hate on Season 2 because it actually requires you to pay attention and learn the lore of the show. Season 2 IS AMAAAAZING!!!!
Actually season 2 is as good as the first. Yes the first three episode is different to dump the lore but other than that gets into it just like this season does. The story is worth the lore dump episodes.
