all of the reactors i've seen so far seems to miss out on the fact that the sword that he got was from episode 2 from that guy with white hair who left the altar, the same sword Jin Woo used to "fight back" against the statues
it's the anime's mistake in my book. cus they didn't even try to help the viewer to put it together. i for example didn't read the manga and only now reading your comment I realised that it was that sword. also their episodes come out like once a week so chances I remember wtf happened 2 weeks ago are slim, they should've added a quick flashback or something idk
He really pulled the " well my weapon is breaking, and i see some low levels struggling, might at well toss it at the boss and let them handle the rest "

Yea the snake was C rank but it had orange name tag so it means it's on equal footing with Jinwoo. So Jinwoo is a C rank currently. At lvl 18 or 19 since he leveled up a few times after defeating the snake at lvl 15.
the sword was back when mr kim gave it to him before running out after jinwoo warned him if anyone left then everyone would die as there would been blind spots. it is seem implaied after completing the quest of courage of the weak and the double dungen closed it auto looted the sword and putted it into his invtory.
It´s so ridiculous how little Jinwoo understands his own strength. He thought that he just finished up an already almost defeated boss, but in reality that boss didn´t even take damage before. He literalls almost oneshot a Dungeon boss with a thrown weapon (a very weak attack in any game) without even realizing. To be fair, he always faced enemies that are severely stronger than him...
That would be hilarious if Jin-Woo was just killing bugs in his house and suddenly got the title, "Fly Swatter" - accuracy increases by 40% when swatting flying bugs.
So the Title Wolf Slayer that he gets, it's probably a translation error or a retcon later, as it also does the same thing in the Webtoon, but it says here that he gets increased damage against wolves, but later it says it applies to ALL beast type monsters, like tigers, bears, etc. All hunters seem to have strengths and weaknesses in their "Stats", such that most of their stats will be focused on one or two stats and be very deficient in the others, in the webtoon, SJW says that he was a "Power Type", which sounds like it might have been a physical damage dealer type, but he appears to actually have all his stats balanced at the start, unless that was done intentionally by the system, which might have actually contributed to how weak he seemed before the start of the series. If he has points allocated into "Magic" but doesn't have any magic abilities, that is wasted stat resource which would have been better placed into Strength or Agility. But that is just my speculation, as it really doesn't matter.
The WoW/SWTOR vibes are real. Never speed run the starter area. Always clock all the side quest before heading to the area boss. Max out the level farming. There are all kinds of level lock markets where the products are not available for you to purchase at your level..... When the wolf pack arrives the answer is "LEEERROOYY JEENNNKINNNS" Dungeon break Golem? Jinwoo casts [Yeetus Deletus].... When Joohee gets brave enough to ask him questions, he can tell her about 😏 choking that snake...
While I'm enjoying the adaptation so far, I remember the pacing being better in the manwha (perhaps just nostalgia from the first-time experience?). There was a lot of repeated information (to an unnecessary level) that could have been cut without losing quality, enough so that I think they could've fit episode 3 and 4 into a single episode. Aside from that, the action and art/animation are quite good.

Jinwoo's VA goes so hard this episode. He surpassed even the animation in terms of quality. I got goosebumps during the boss fight.
