Repeat.
Tasty Taco's they are and I love eating them. My wife if from Texas and when WE go to visit every year (I) eat all I can of the Al Pastor & Carne Gasada, CHINGOW! and I love how there is an endless supply of BIG RED 😊😊😊.
Arnie you are my favorite to watch for any Mexican style cuisine! Your videos are great because you don’t bs to much. You’re fun but educational! Thanks my friend. Keep up the awesome work.
Genius! I've watched a trillion Hispanic cooking videos (I'm kinda addicted), and made just as many tacos in my home kitchen, and you sir have introduced something revolutionary! I'm super stoked to make this!! Thank you, keep up the great work, Arnie!!
Arnie, whatever the Pork Board is paying you, tell ‘em to pay you more! This recipe is so good you’re selling pork in Australia mate! I just served a slightly modified version of this (it’s hard to get certain specific chillies locally) to the family, and it went down a treat 👍🏼
I am personally on a mission to try all of your recipes as none of them have disappointed me even close. Your party beans are still the best beans I have ever had. Doing this one this weekend and just need to get some cinnamon.
I had this idea a couple years ago. I thought I was inventing this revolutionary shortcut to Al pastor. Then I when I ate it, I realized I basically “invented” chorizo. 😂
Not gonna lie i love cooking and this is definitely a life saver especially when my fiance is about to start craving, i know she loves your videos so you honestly saved me 2 x lol
I have made this 3 times...it's been a hit with everyone I have served it to...I still want to make a traditional style but till I can , this is the go to ❤
The guajillo and other peppers can have a very thick and tough skin, a vertical crushing type juicer makes quick work of them and can eliminate the straining step. I use an old Omega vert juicer for salsas, fresh and canned peppers. You can run everything for a salsa through the juicer then add separated solids back in or leave them out.
Watched all your videos.! Definitely trying. I moved to Wisconsin and the Mexican food ain’t the same. So I make everything myself. 956 Rio Grande valley
I made your poco de gallo last night and then I combined that with this Al Pastor one and it was incredible. I did not strain my sauce either. Delicious.
Can you or someone write the recipie down? It’s be great if you did that in the comments or description. It’s just easier and some people are read/write learners. Thanks for yhe awesome recipe, my wife and I just had this diced /cut up pork style, and although it was good, my wife likes ground meat (less gristle and chewing in her opinion) so this works perfectly.
I made this last night for dinner 🙌🏾 Came across ur video. Thank you so much for sharing ur recipe ❤ I normally get the pastor season/ready and pack at the supermarket 🫣 Doing it ur way, was so delicious. I can’t wait to make it again. I love tacos de pastor.
I have most of the ingredients on hand to make this, think I'm going to make a big batch of the adobo this weekend and freeze some for easy weeknight meals. Thanks for sharing all your incredible recipes.
Arnie, I notice you use the fine mesh strainer a lot for your sauces. Have you ever tried a food mill? I find you can strain sauces 3-4 times faster, and you shouldn't have to worry about how thick the sauce is before you strain it.
I have a bigger commercial strainer too but uise the fine one for video since thats what most people will have at home. But the bigger one is much much better and makes the job so quick, thanks
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ oh hell yeah (lol) Ernie ! You did this. YOU R tha Man Ernie. I WILL be making this , this weekend. I’ve always wanting to make this dish but the hrs(lol) NOPE can’t n won’t do! Thanks again Ernie . 🙏🏾🎁🎄🏡 FELIZ Navidad to You n your lovely wife.
Love your recipes and videos! Would you consider listing or linking your recipes? Thank you so much for all your hard work and willingness to share. Happy New Year!
Oh my god that look good I’m gonna try that today, but I’m gonna marinate the ground pork.marinate 30 mins and let’s see how it comes out and put grilled pineapples
I wanted to grill the pineapples too but were really short on time, it's a much better flavor and marinade the pork longer yes, up to 3-4 hours and it will be even better.
I like the slotted spatula and that grill! Also like the double burner stove! Can you please post a link of where to buy all of them? Thank you for the video, I’m salivating at the thought of making those tacos Al pastor! Love you Arnie!!!❤️
@@i_fuze_hostages6 Unfortunately none of are these avalaible here. Maybe some regular Chilis and some Chipotle powder? The only thing I can get that has some mexican name.
@@ChrisM243you can switch it with some normal red peppers (no green though I recommend). The green one brings sourness (which we do not want) Red pepper brings soft juicy less sour flavour. Have a nice tacos!

They have tacos in Florida 😂
Yes of course. That’s not what I said though.
Oh they should! Get a trompo and watch sales increase!
That's a fact.
I made this. It's outstanding

Not always the most healthy of meals at times, but good tasting ones usually come at a price :)

I love this recipe! A short trip to my local latino grocer for peppers and im set!
I’m a gringo. Southern Louisiana. That looks so good. Amazing.
Can you grow pineapples in Southern Louisiana? Or is it too humid?
I made this and it rocks. It inspired me to build a rotisserie just to cook al pastor in that fashion.
You're awesome Arnie. Can't wait to try this out. Looks incredible
Found you yesterday with your chili con carne video, love the simple and straightforward instructions. Keep rocking, love from Norway
Adding this to my list. That Adobo looks great.

The ground pork is a really good idea! Texture won't be the same, but the convenience is what I'm here for.

My favorite taco, Charlotte nc ❤️you 👍👍🌮🍺!
Would luv to watch the traditional way of cooking al Pastor tacos❤
Thumbs up very well deserved 🌮😋
Arni I'm a Texan living in N. C I enjoy watching you cooking question why in tacos al pastor have pineapple keep on cooking
Love your channel, can’t wait to try making this dish.
Question: What kind of griddle is that? Looks amazing! Thank you so much for the recipe and tips!
My goodness. This is so easy! Well, the straining part is definitely tedious. But worth it.
Yummy I will try u can use pietes of pork right?
Adobo is an awesome seasoning mix. That and a little onion powder is a perfect burger seasoning!
Alright, you switched gears here, my friend😂 ain't no right way ain't no wrong way right 🎉
Making this next Tuesday. :)
Thank you. And yes my favorite
Do you blend up the cinnamon stick as well or is that removed prior to blending?
I'm all about that salsa Rojo! ❤
You are amazing ❤
Thanks for sharing ❤
Looks so good ese
This looks really delicious. Is there any substitute for the chilies you use there? Here in Germany I can't find any of these unfortunately.
The Ancho chile and the Pasilla Negro chile for a mild pepper or puya for a hot sauce pepper
@@i_fuze_hostages6 Unfortunately none of are these avalaible here. Maybe some regular Chilis and some Chipotle powder? The only thing I can get that has some mexican name.

@@ChrisM243 bon appetit!
You got a place where there is a recipe list? Hard to follow a video for all the stuff going in to this.
I in joy your smile. Respect
Love this! Thank you
Where can you find aciote?
Amazon has several varieties; dry and paste. I have used both for many years. Be careful to not to use to much at once……
So you leave the cinnamon stick in the blender???
Did you remove the cinnamon stick before blending?
Not necessary since I strained the sauce and usually I will grind the stick and cloves in a coffee grinder instead.
Looks good buddy.
Arnie, I shared your video with my wife, so hopefully there'll be some tacos al pastor in my near future. I like your guayabera. Where can I get one?
@billsimon you can order them online here>> www.texas-standard.com/products/tejas-guayabera-estandar?
