This absolutely made my week. I've never seen this movie, but when I found next to nothing about it online -- I was hoping it'd be SBIG gold. Fun fact - The plot of this movie is entirely based on real events, about the time when my Dad (a lawyer), went out to buy a pack of smokes and was kidnapped into warehouse-based kick boxing competition.

It's a subtle reference to The Dark Knight, You know the scene where Alfred tells the tale of how they had to burn down an entire forest to kill a single man.

it really was a great line, it made me laugh because its true, his chest hair looked like a brush fire lol. not a nice maine of chest hair thats just glorious to look at and touch.
That's the point where I finally started laughing.
When we saw the opening my husband immediately yelled, “Hey! That’s St. Louis!” Specifically, St. Louis’, Union Station. It’s an aquarium now! (He’s an STL native and rail enthusiast.)

i'VE SEEN IT TOO. I've been telling everyone abvout it for years. Even here on their channel. When I saw it, it was under the name "Deadly Heat". There are no downloadable strems og Deadly heat anywhere. Maybe this tittle does haver them.

It's kind of cute, Jason and Erin just watching a bad movie together.
When that drunk guy at the end of the bar has been telling the same story for years but it's been slowly evolving over the years from that time he got beat up in an alley to when he took down the entire criminal underworld.
And Micheal decided it was his story.
That most enthusiastic “He’s coking up!” I ever seen. A little disappointed Erin didn’t have her appropriate violence against giggles shirt as it seemed to be an important plot point.
I see a man getting an uppercut to the crotch, I click. I don't know if that says more about the movie, or me?

Not gonna lie, the dude doing either Coke/Herion and going into a rage was so damn great...took 2 kicks and 1 JCVD/Johnny Cage uppercut to the sack and didn't flinch!

@@JasonBrantEvery single one of them. He is a mullet wearing producer, director, lead actor, composer and singer in almost all of his films. Twisted Justice and Kill Crazy are insane examples of what he is capable of, in a bad way lol

I'm getting strong hardware store vibes from this one. The stack of empty pallets, the Full Flex TEC is a thin-set mortar you can get at Menard's. It's like they just saw Fight Club and somebody in accounting said "Hold my beer"

With the amount of ball kicks in this movie, I'm starting to wonder if this movie was the inspiration for Master Ken's Ameri-do-te system of fighting. "And then remember as always to re-stomp that groin."

The lead bad guy's hair is so majestic that I'm now hoping against all odds for a Death Kick anime adaptation...
It is no shock that the guy wearing all the Otomix gear was the kickboxer. Otomix was a massive martial arts supply company that was all over the martial arts tournament and kickboxing scenes in the 90s. There are some movies where almost all, if not all, the martial arts related characters wore their gear on screen at some point in the movie.
I'll keep an eye out for that brand.
@@JasonBrant Another martial arts movie that might be a fit for you guys is called "Superfights." It is not as bad as this, but is a 90s martial arts cheese B movie (I do not want to give away too much). It even has Chuck Jeffreys in it, although his Eddie Murphy shtick is toned down a little (it is still there some though). It is hard to find for less than $90, but I found one place if it sounds like you might be interested.

That opening scene is St. Louis Union Station. An old train station that was converted into a shops in the 80s and now houses the St. Louis Aquarium.

Martial arts vanity projects are always good for a laugh
I can't get enough of them.
The opening is union Station in st louis Missouri. It's an aquarium and hotel now. But it used to be a mall. We went to the hooters there after every cardinals game.

I think this was originally supposed to be a low budget bondage porno, but the women decided at the last minute the money they would get paid for the sex scenes wasn't enough, so they decided to go for the karate revenge angle.

The story is so crazy that we couldn't understand it.
That opening shot of the building was probably a case of either "We rented a helicopter for only 15 minutes and this was the best shot we could get in that time," or "We didn't realize that we were almost out of film when we went up in the helicopter. This was the only shot we got, and we can't afford to rent the chopper again."
Gotta be stock footage. The movie never goes to that location after the intro.

Yesterday I saw a movie with our beloved Cynthia Rothrock! But it was the worst movie in the world called Santa's Summer House. It would be a great opportunity to watch at Christmas, but who knows for next Christmas then.

Some internet sleuthing suggests that he was a NY theatrical agent that died in 2004. But that same info suggests he was 62 during this movie, which seems wrong. Though the birthday matches up with IMDB and an obituary on Playbill and both out of Brooklyn.

The intro building looks like Union Station in St. Louis! It was a train station but now is an hotel, aquarium, ferris wheel, restaurants, etc with NHL and MLS stadiums nearby. That warehouse part just covers parking and a fountain mostly now.
