Cicadas make slits in trees to lay their eggs. Boyd slit Smiley's neck and put the "worms" in. Idk how this all ties in but the insides do look like a dead dried up tree

On the topic of Tabitha and Jade and how easily she recognized Victor in the photo, I always chalked it up to it being a mother’s nature. Just like Tia Chen picked it up first by just looking at the photo vs. Jade and her son. Tabitha was also able to pick it up easier. I do like the theory they’re related though and I don’t think it’s that far fetched!. Kills me how people shoot down the theory though lol as if anything in this town makes sense. Let’s go wild with the conspiracies!
Regarding clocks- in episode two, the kleptomaniac girl is looking to take Jade's watch and Ellis stops her. She says something like "it won't matter soon anyway" as though the watch would soon stop working. That brings to mind the town curfew- how does Boyd determine when to ring his bell if all the clocks are broken? Maybe he just eye alls the quality of the light outside or measures the sun against his fingers (two or three fingers meaning it's time to ring the Curfew Bell).

I find it hard to believe that there hasn't been a massacure/cycle since he was a child. If ppl would only TALK to each other!! I know you might say the show wouldn't last as long. But you can provide answers, as you create new questions. I'm probably in the minority, but I don't want it to run forever. It should be looking to end the show around the 5th season. I was thinking, what if we have a monsters inc. type situation to where everyone’s fears, feed the energy in fromville? That’s what is providing the electricity, whenever someone is scared or starts panicking the radios turn on When everyone was freaking out after the storm when they were working with the tower, the bulbs all blew like a power overload and then ofcoarse, whenever some people die, it’s almost like the place brings back around the same amount of people to fill the void of energy source Maybe that’s also why those monsters torture when they are unaliving someone so that the fear will last long? Just a thought I had and I was wondering what you had to say about it 😅 Love love your videos!! Great video again! Love how you say about the sea creatures, I was watching finding dory with my little girl today and that deep sea creature has them weird teeth. Also Elgin has something about the water, that we are yet to discover.
I once again have to point out that everyone except very few people in Fromville have (naturally) dark hair. Only exceptions with blonde hair are Donna, Boyd's wife, the old lady that knows too much and Smiley creature - for me this is already a pattern. I was also made aware from another user that the name Boyd actually means "yellow haired" or "blond". When Kristi meets her girlfriend in Fromville for the first time again, she even makes a statement on her now bleached blond hair. And I think especially the way Kristi's girlfriend's hair is bleached, with only two thick strands being blond now, the rest of her hair still dark, is striking. In my theory, she might commited suicide with a golden shot as she could not stand Kristi leaving her, ending up in Fromville. All others might have died by accident or natural reasons. I think this is no coincidence.

Awesome video!!!! This clock thing is very interesting. Just a tin-foil theory here. What if the clock are not there to give time, but they are the symbol that Jade keeps obsessing about. We see Christopher showing Jade the notebook with the symbol, but the lines are in a different place in each of the three drawings--no more different than the hands of the clocks.

I was wondering if the tooth and the wallet have some connection to the tooth fairy. The myth of the tooth fairy is also originating from northern Europe, where wiking parents going on expeditionary adventures or war used to carry their kids' baby teeth for blessing and protection 🤔
Also, I recognized a pattern in color. The motel billboard in Fromville has three colors: darkred, turquoise/blue and yellow. These are the only colors that can be found in Fromville, especially blue and yellow. Just look at the colors of the town residents' clothes. Or the colors of the houses / in the houses. Interestingly, the smartphone cases of Julie and Ethan shown on their RV ride in S1E1 are yellow for Julie and blue for Ethan. In the same episode, Ethan wears a shirt with darkred, yellow and blue stripes. When you watch the trailer for season 3, you will recognize the red beanie of Jade and Julie, and the turquoise one for Kenny. Furthermore, Tabitha's shirt after leaving the hospital has exactly the same color, and so do the trousers of the man, who could be Victor's father, she later meets.
I've been looking into the colors alot. Donna is one of the few people who wears orange, and Ellis wears purple. There are a few that wear green but mostly a dull green. It's interesting because the blue red and yellow are primary colors but orange purple and green are secondary. Makes me think of victors and Eloises drawings. They are mostly done with there 6 colors. There is also brown and black in the pictures, but yellow red and blue are most common.

I agree that it was done on purpose. There are three others at the clinic/school that are shown enough throughout the series, but they each display the same time. The clocks and time pieces are definitely strategic. I did not even realise until watching season 1 again that the grandfather clock at colony house changed times as well. On a different note, I always find the exit sign by the public address system hilarious. I keep expecting to see a door pop up out of nowhere. I guess it might be for the window. Who knows?

I haven’t seen that mentioned which kind of surprises me, but it definitely looks like Morse code when those lights flicker.
There has to be a connection between Fatima’s pregnancy and Elgin. He remembers what he needs to know right when Fatima reveals she is pregnant. I guess he could be their kid if they had to send him in a Farway tree and he ended up in another year and grew up then…or sailed away in the Brambles or whatever that water area is called like Moses to another year. Elgin does look a bit like Boyd. Dominant genetics can skip a generation.
Very interesting find with the wallet and tooth! I wonder if there was a scene that got removed in editing where they took out the monster's wallet and find a tooth in his pocket or something? Why they wouldn't keep that in the final production I have no idea - just putting out ideas. Perhaps they didn't want us knowing the identity of the monsters just yet, and the tooth was something it collected from one if it's kills. Again, just spit balling ideas.

What if when victor sister ran off behind her mom , what when they got to the bottle tree the mother sacrificed her self so the daughter can escape and she made it out and married and was still doing her drawings and the husband knew but was skeptical and they had kids she passed and then Tabitha showed up and showed the stuff victor gave her and notice a drawing Tabitha had and starting showing her the things she continued to draw in there basement, I say that because victor said he lost is sister and mother but he has said he found his mother body by the bottle tree but never said he found his sisters body he just assumed she was died to but she wasn’t cause she made it to the light house and the boy in white new that’s maybe why he started showing his self to victor and he help victor stay alive till more came and victor thinks it’s a dream and he has the information they need to escape because think as a child and the only one left how long did he have to survive by himself and how did he survived by himself. Trying to butter up dudes pregnant girlfriend… I’m sorry, but if I’m stuck in this situation and my girl starts spending time and taking care of some random guy who just showed up, I’d be pissed!! They have a clinic… There’s NO need for this dude to start hanging around my girl.
Yeah, time probably moves a lot slower here than in the real world. But it also seems time moves faster in other instances. Faster healing or faster diseases. Wondering how long Fatima will be pregnant
