- The TV show "From" is now going into its third season. This video breakdowns the theories of who is the villains of the show, and all the clues that they are the Fae or Fairies.
I've been thinking about this one, and The Wild Hunt does seem to fit so far. I also remember Julie telling Ethan a story about "secret fairies" that had smthg 2 do with the Lake of Tears. 🤔🧚♂️🧚♀️🧚
Yes! Just rewatched ep1 and 2 and Ethan mentions Faires and the lake of tears (could be the flood they have hinted at and/or the lake Kenny and Jim find in the new promo
Really cool video! Ethan mentions the fairies and lake of tears a few times in season 1. I still think besides the Boy in White and whatever entity is in Fromville that there may be another group at play outside of the town. I have alot of theories about the hospital and also Jades company. Awesome video, can't wait for season 3
I think an eclipse might be on the horizon and also needed inorder for ritual to start and that might be the reason we're seeing the animals out at night...the dates on the lighthouse might be the years of other such eclipses...jus a thought...thankx fr sharing this vid ..
I think the biggest hint to the monsters being the slaugh or something similar to a fae myth creatureis that they seem to take human clothing and items most likely as a way for them to help them shapeshift since they don’t seem to constantly change form. I think in certain modern interpretations of the slaugh is that they are able to take the form of lost souls.
This also reminds me of how the Children of the Forest in GOT created White Walkers for protection and ultimately lost control of them because they gained their own autonomy. The fairy theory makes a lot of sense though, very interesting.
A fallin tree splits the world open from the living realm to the world of the monsters. The door talismans to me looks like one human who walks in the light of day and one humanoid who walks in the dark of night. The faraway trees and the tree in the beginning are probability represents the gods and must be apeased by children sacrifice under its roots
I really love that theory but I am afraid it won't be final explanation and they will go with something like aliens or govement experiment :/
btw.
You made me rewatch seasons 1 and 2.

If we stick with the fey theme here, I think that this isn't the Fey Wilds but the bridge between (a crossroad) and does not have a real geographic location because it exists outside our dimension (think pocket dimension) but somehow touches every deep forest in the world (although the show may restrict this to the USA/N. America ). I think the lighthouse is what controls where the opening occurs only being able to pull things in at random and that's why you can only leave being pushed from it. I think the night people are the people that did not survive the reset and are now corrupted by the land being their long exposure to a world that is not suited for them to exist. Other than that, I like this theory and certainly an interesting exploration into the rollercoaster of just WTF is going on.
2:26 that artist depiction is of the fallen angels being cast out of heaven
Hey i totally suggested this on another video! Glad someone agrees
It makes the most sense to me! I'm looking forward to season three! Hopefully, they will confirm this!
It was already confirmed in season 2. Martin is the fae Fear Gorta and he confirmed he is from a small town called Millbrook, the same town that Fear Gorta is said to be from in Irish Folklore. This has been my theory from months ago. Also, the Lighthouse is a Hight Fairy Mound, which is the highest point of Fae Otherworld and is the thinnest point/gateway between the human and Fae other world.
Just one thing I'll disagree with you about.
The myths describing the Fae exist across the world. In MENA we called them Djinn (Genies). In Algonquin languages they say Pukwudji or Bakwajinini. In Japan yōsei....
Fairies and djinn and yosei are different beings.
Baby the dead are channelings when the fay take a child they leave one of their own to take the form of that child so maybe they are dark fay
Wow cool break down

I have so much to say.
Not sure about this one
