Lap, I gotta say I really admire your equanimity, man. When Simms was talking about how the 49ers got some bad calls and don’t you think they’re thinking of hundreds of ways they lost that game, how you don’t say, “Hey Phil, I think I *do* understand what you’re talking about,” is some admirable restraint 🙂. I know you’re a professional and you have a job to do, but I know I couldn’t have resisted in your shoes. Phil’s a great person and he knows football, I have no problem with Phil waxing poetic about his glory days or sharing some great stories about Bill, but I have no love or patience for the 49ers. Nice job, good show.
