Cool video. Maybe at your next large feast you can put the Fin & Bone, Modern Mountain Man and the original large Mountain Man into a three-way slicing, carving and cutting test to highlight the pros and cons of each blade style. Thanks for the current comparisons. I own the Fin & Bone and as of yesterday the MMM -all in Magnacut. I won't try getting the original Mountain Man unless the handle is switched to a Bravo type handle hopefully in a potential future run.

It always amazes me how people are so crazy about safety, in reality how many people have you actually heard of, or know that have run their hands off the handle and up the blade of a knife? Handle comfort it more important than handle safety, if you run your hand onto the blade of a knife, it’s a lesson learned nothing more or less, you are unlikely to do it twice, most normal people won’t do it the first time.
