thanks for the updated timestamps, and even more massive thanks to man like Daniel Kirby for capturing this. if I don't name my firstborn after you, i promise you, at the very least, their nickname will be "Daniel Kirby" lol
i'm such a proud simp for this record, the style they cultivated is so singular yet immediately familiar and like , really fucking charming. The shared vocal duties combined with the loose--bright yet subdued--instrumentation is hella intoxicating. Cannot wait to see them the first chance I get, album of the year alongside Amaarae's Fountain Baby (different genre but really worth checking out, sublime shit)...two albums i've played alternately like, a LOT, lol. Cheers!
Band has an incredible ceiling. I think they just have to flesh out the songs a bit and get away from this 2-3min tracks and try and get them up to 4-5mins. Tracey Denim is a good start. Just make the tracks more fleshed out for the next album.
I think they started out with the following wager: "we'll play making insipid and noisy music without knowing how to sing and people will love us". The emptiness of their compositions matches that of their listeners. Distressing and worrying! And I speak as an enlightened musician with a vast musical culture...

Is this L.A. Los Angeles or LA as in Louisiana?
Oh nevermind, I just read the description. So why don't I just delete the original comment you ask yourself?

This band is so mysterious, no banter or saying anything to the audience, just show up, play songs, then leave
the only others artists i’ve seen who preformed the same way was Dean Blunt and Death Grips
@@Michael-bd7yk when i saw billy woods all he said was "can we get the lights down" and that was it LOL
@@dimku8253 him and elucid talked for a bit in seattle from what i can remember
