How to use SPIKECAM body camera S4JL?
Part 1: Camera operation.
1. To power on the camera, hold the power button for 3 seconds. The power LED will turn green, indicating that the camera has entered standby mode. To power off the camera, hold the power button again.
2. To start video recording in standby mode, press the power button once. The LED ring will light up and the power LED will turn red. To stop video recording, quickly press the power button twice. This double-press setting can prevent video recording from being stopped easily, which is useful in dangerous situations.
3. To take a photo, simply press the photo button. You can set up the photo resolution using the Cam Manager, which will be discussed in the next video.
4. To check the remaining battery, press the FN button. Four LEDs will indicate the remaining battery from 25% to 100%.
5. To activate night vision mode, hold the FN button for 3 seconds. You can set up the auto night vision mode in the Cam Manager. There are two large, powerful IR LEDs on the front of the camera to ensure good night vision shots.
6. To turn on the GPS function, press the photo and FN buttons together. The middle charging LED will turn yellow and flash, indicating that the camera is searching for a GPS signal. Once the camera obtains a GPS signal, the LED will become solid yellow. Please note that GPS will only work outdoors on a clear day. Press the two buttons together again to turn off GPS.
7. To activate the WiFi function, hold the WiFi button for 3 seconds. The WiFi LED will light up in white, and you will be able to find the camera's WiFi hotspot signal on your phone. You can playback video files with the Viidure App, which will be introduced in the next video. Hold the WiFi button again to turn off WiFi.
If the camera malfunctions or does not respond, you can press the reset button with a pen to force the camera to shut down. Power it on again, and it should return back to normal.
