Chris and Sara, you continue to dazzle us with your content and talents for story telling with each new adventure. If there was an award for this sort of thing, hands down, it should be yours. Thank you.
Whooooooooaaaaaa. The tourism board needs to license footage from y’all! I’ve never seen so many absolutely gorgeous shots in one video! 🤩 Seriously soooo beautiful and the kind of place Pete and I are really bad at appreciating so love watching in vlogs like this one. 😂 Also I’m always in awe of your graphics. The Chattanooga/Iceland population comparison! TEACH ME! (Funny story about that- I used to take/meet exchange students at the airport when I was in college in NYC - as a job for the organizing group not as a weird hobby- and whenever I had Icelandic students, they’d always look around the check in line for someone they knew and I was like “why would you expect to see someone you know at a NYC airport!?” And then I realized how often we know people at the Chattanooga airport and that the population is similar and it blew my mind. And they often did bump into a “neighbor”! Still crossing my fingers we get to bump into each other on our travels eventually! 🤞🙃
You had me laughing thinking about you making a hobby of picking up strange students at the airport. I love that you felt the need to disclose that it was a job. lol 😂
Oh that's a great question! Short answer: we loved both experiences. Solo traveling gave us time and freedom to get all the photos we wanted and go wherever looked interesting. On the flip side, it was so fun traveling with others! The group was so stress free and we had an amazing guide who taught us so much and handled every single logistic for us.
You put together a beautiful video! I did the Ring Road with a friend in 2019. It's so amazing!! I'm sure you loved it all. Thanks for showing it's beauty so artfully
Insane!! I got teary-eyed throughout this. I am so happy you got the opportunity to experience Iceland! Amazing music and just, everything! Also, Walter Mitty ran through my mind as I watched this 😀 Love it!
We'd LOVE to have you travel with us one day! The group trip was so much fun and we absolutely loved getting to travel with new friends. We're hoping to have 2023 trips nailed down soon so stay tuned. :)
Thank you for sharing this. I did the Golden Circle tour several years ago and it left me wanting more. I would love to return to Iceland to discover more!
The Golden Circle is an incredible route, too! I hope you get the chance to return to Iceland again soon to explore even more of the country. You could fill months and years hiking this beautiful country. :)
Loved your video! I´m very glad you enjoyed your stay here and I´m looking forward to see more videos from you. I also want to commend you on just how well this video was put together. The videography, the editing, the blend of music and narration, everything was just spot on. Thanks for sharing!
Wow, thank you so much!! Hearing that Icelandic locals enjoyed it means so much. Thanks for sharing your country with us and making it such a wonderful experience. We hope to visit again very very soon and see/experience even more.
Loved your video and look forward to the next. You got to do and see more than we did. We stayed in two locations and drove a lot. Such a beautiful place. Amazing! I would love to go back.
Thanks so much! Hope you get to visit Iceland again soon. I'm sure you could spend months and years there and still want to see more. Such an incredible country!
Thanks so much for sticking with us through all the transition, Sean! We miss the van, but having new adventures has been a good change in this season of life. :)
Stunning! Love the aesthetic and mood of your storytelling style for this series - seems a natural fit for such a unique location. Looking forward to the rest of the series! Thanks for working to get it shared with us. 😊
We got sidetracked having to head to Arizona for my brother's funeral, but in the middle of everything this lovely episode was a welcome distraction, taking us spiritually away to what is clearly one of God's most beautiful creations:) So much appreciate your tastefully cinematic storytelling. Clearly this was a life changing experience for you guys and all who traveled the distance to share. Sending Best Wishes and Blessings, James and Kim ❤️
Hey y'all! thank you for your ever kind words. We're so so sorry to hear about the passing of your brother and you'll be in our thoughts and prayers. Safe travels to AZ and keep us posted on when you'll be back our way. Miss you guys!
@@chrisandsara We appreciate you guys so much. We'll definitely give you a shout when we're getting closer to your area, which we are working towards asap. Also Loving this new series:) Sending Best Wishes and Blessings, James and Kim ❤️
Okay, this was incredible! You guys captured Iceland so beautifully! The story telling was perfect! We really hope to visit Iceland one day, but until then, we will live vicariously through these videos.
So many familiar scenes!! Iceland is beyond description in many ways. I've gone twice in the last 14 months and have already started planning another trip - with a side trip to Greenland. In 2021 I went to see the volcanic eruption at Geldingadalur and returned this past March to see a little more. I am fortunate to have seen more of that incredible country than most people and realize I have barely scratched the surface. I foresee many return visits during the rest of my life. You guys have done a great job capturing the essence of one of my favorite places on earth. (Did you find the "Yoda cave"???)
We now understand the appeal in returning to Iceland multiple times. How cool that you've been able to do so!! I hope your next trip will happen very soon and please enjoy all the hot springs and mountain views for us! Also, I'm going to need to know more about this "Yoda Cave" because this is the first time we've ever heard of it!
I went to Iceland last year, in the middle of dead cold winter. Everything was covered, no buried under snow, got stuck in the middle of the Ring Road for a couple days, and our tour van got slipped and spent hours to get out from there. Would I wanna go back again? Absolutely. When do I wanna go? Winter. I will never forget in my life the whitest white world everywhere my eye touches, the northern lights at the darkest night when I got stuck on the Ring Road, and the purest blue dawn and absolute silence that I met in the middle of nowhere.
Hey guys love your video, I just had a quick question, do you know the penalties of posting drone footage of skogafoss? I only found out after that drone footage wasn’t allowed
Hi Christian! We abided by all the rules/laws in Iceland so I'm not too sure of the fines and punishments for breaking the laws. In the few spots in Iceland where drones weren't allowed, we were able to find drone footage of the places via FilmPac. Hope this helps! :)
Hey guys... I'm really looking forward to more Iceland! You two always have great content. If I could just carp a moment about the music... You must know that everyone has particular and differing taste in vocal music. That said - the instrumentals that you use are great if a bit louder than your talking - I have to keep fiddling with the volume. Don't know if you care about that, but I do absolutely enjoy your videos! Thanks❣

Ya'll always have great editing, but I feel like it's been on another level lately. Woah!

Wow, thanks so much, Trish! It's so nice to hear people enjoy what we love making!

Thanks, Clay! And yes, we did hunt down some good coffee. :) We featured a few different shops in our video that just went live this morning. :)

How long you guys were in Iceland?
Two weeks and it wasn't near long enough! :) So much to see!
I agree about predators. Iceland is Alaska without Grizzly Bears. It's like Hawaii is Florida without the Gators/Snakes.
Lol. Ioved the eye roll after thanking Justin Bieber. .
Which one was your favorite to go to Iceland or Ireland?
Iceland! We enjoyed Ireland it was a very special place, too, but Iceland is magical. Truly one of the most amazing places on the planet!
Not a fan of drone chasing animals.
Don't worry, it wasn't. 🙂 our drone has a zoom on it then we bumped it in even further in post for that effect.
if you call Iceland pretty wait until you hit New Zealand.
