You’re going to love it. I’m a “functional print” guy also. And a furniture maker. I’ve made replacement appliance parts, jigs and fixtures for tools, router templates, all kinds of useful tools.
So cool to see the kids you mention so often.
Three thumbs up, one for the handyman and one for each of your boys. They are adorable 👍👍👍
The #1 3d printer in the ENTIRE WORLD! 💥🌎😂💕👍
PS- the boys are gonna have you running that "magic toy making machine" day and nite. Love it
These machines remind me of the start of 'personal computers' in the early 1980's. "Everybody needs one'. 40 years later, yep, everybody needs and has at least one
I have made several things on my printer for my handyman business . Custom size Pipe covers to hide drywall cuts, Ptac vent covers they dont make anymore and vinyl fence brackets that they dont make anymore. It is very handy and in my case paid for my $800 investment in a few months.
I’m going to buy a printer and print another printer. Endless loop. 🔁
Thank you Handy!
Printers are fun
3D printers are great you'll have a lot of fun. I didn't want to buy a 3" jig off amazon to drill straight kitchen cabinet holes for the handles so I designed and 3d printed my own and it worked just fine.
Word of advice it's not good to keep them in a shop they will get sawdust all over them unless you put a dust cover over it.
Cool machine. Oh, and your boys are adorable!
Thanks.
A couple of years ago I was installing a shower curtain rod and accidentally cut it 1/2" short. After kicking myself for a minute, I was about to go buy a new rod, but then I thought of using my 3D printer. It took me like 5 minutes to design a piece to extend each end of the rod 1/4", and a hour to print two of them. They worked great.
“No me” was the beginning of the end for that robot lol 😂
LOL. Its still hanging on. The leg fell off a few times but it pops back on.
Look at those future millionaires! Good job handy
Your kids are adorable!!!
Thanks
Great tool indeed
“This is for work, not toys and miniatures.”
Proceeds to make toys and miniatures. 😂🤣
You will have fun with it! It will likely be horrifying how quickly those two boys are pros with it.
Very cool video Handyman 👍
I’ve been thinking about getting one
You are a very lucky man handyman!
Sweet kids. I remember when my kids were that young. 😊
“ can I hold it? No me!” And it starts
I love to see young Dads at work.
Your kids are amazing. God bless you
Great video with the young 'n's
Oh, God. Everything is going to hell now. HEADLINE: HANDY MAN GIVES UP BEING HANDY! GOES 3D!
I love it...3D print the boats that you will use for a future boating accident where you lose the rest of the things that you print (allegedly print). You know what I'm talking about! Cute kids, reminds me of my daughters that are roughly the same age.
it was broken before you edited this video... next year you’ll have a cnc machine
Two and a half boys,
5:53 Robots have no balls.
Cute boys❤
🇺🇸🤘 Heck Yeah Handy Dandy 🤘🇺🇸
What's up bro!
Your boys are handsome & cute!…💕💕
Bro a computer scientist
I'm 3 months into 3d printing and I've printed through 10+ 1kg spools of filament. Went with bambu lab for the ability to print more than one color at a time. At the price point of this I'd recommend the bambu lab A1 mini or the just released A1. It's newer and substantially faster with a larger community than the anker one.
What do you use for 3d modeling?
@@TheHandyman1 I have only done a few pretty basic models using the free version of Fusion 360 and that's just because I briefly used that software a decade and change ago in college.
I have largely been printing things from thingiverse, printables, or bambu's community site makerworld. I've been shocked at some of the obscure things I've been able to find instead of having to model it out.
A lot of people use Fusion 360 but the learning curve is going to be higher. There are a lot of tutorials and such for it though and there is free licensing for non-commercial use. It's the same company (AutoDesk) that makes the popular AutoCAD so they are legit. There are other ones used by STEM schools that are easier to understand and use though like TinkerCAD. I've meddled with Fusion 360 but that's about it. There are a bunch of free libraries out there too like Thingiverse and Printables. One of the coolest things I've discovered is that McMaster Carr has downloadable files on a lot of their products that you can grab and print. That might be a more practical thing for you....hardware store is closed and you need an emergency fix TODAY...print and done, or if you live in Alaska and it's a 300 mile round trip to a store. Endless reasons why this is incredible cool.@@TheHandyman1
Fusion 360 or FreeCAD
No fights over the red boat? Let us k ow how that works out😂
I printed 3 boats, so we are good so far.
Astute observers.
Never Seen It. 1985 Weird Science.
This video is one day old. That robot is already in the trash. $100.
Yo I had no idea you were some programming, technological genius who can make Elon Musk seem but a poor peasant that doesn't know a damn thing. South Park was right, youre about to be battling other rich MFs in space.
Now come on now…. Did you not realize Handy is the GOAT of all things!!!!!
