Im using ceramic tile this weekend for partial wall and floor where my bathtub is going. I placed 3/4 inch plywood for the flooe and i have mold free drywall for the wall. The mortar is ultraflex 2 which is good for plywood but isbit ok to use with the drywall surface wall? Im trying this for the first time and any help would be appreciated. Thx
Good video, however the glue used in this video is not meant to put a floor tile on your wall according to Mapei reps. It is highly recommended to use a sticky mortar that you mix yourself like the Rona xpert or Ker121 to add a floor tile to your wall. The premixed tile adhesive will not dry as fast as mortar and could cause you tiles to fall before it dries. the grout demonstration could be better and no one waits 10 days to silicone expansion joints.
I can use some info im using 4x4 ceramic tiles and the wall behind the bowl is 3 feed, but 8 tile with 1/8 spacing i'm short 1-1/8'' from the other side of the wall. It would had been nice to center the tiles, but again I would leave 1/2 and 1/16 short on both sides, so what can I do? Thanks Lou
Finally a concise and to-the-point video for installing wall tiles. Thank you.
Good video and quite informative. Seems like a little work, but I think I might be able to handle it. We’ll see.
your a great tile builder

Did he apply the tiles over a drywall?
The tile wall I've allone decided was best on the wall. How many did we miss?
What is the wall made of ? what could it be made of? what properties would it have?
Great tutorial, thanks so much

LOL you really hammered em kid but what the hell is "sticky mortar"?
Is there a difference between tile adhesive and tile mortar?
No
I was wonder is the material that you use to connect the tile to the wall is that the same as the drywall wax
That's one bathroom project to tackle.
Thank you Rona 👍
I love how he said finally after about 10 days 🤣 apply the sealant 🤯
Why didn't they go over how to finish the tile on the floor? Silicone as well?
