Your extensive use of the laser would infuriate my boss LOL I, however, love them when used correctly. Your tiles were bang on mitres and good technique all around. I hope to be at least this good some day soon. I have the training and the drive, I just needed to experience more... like this
Once you get good at basic tile u could basically do these things first try. Comes down to being meticulous by nature or at least instilling it into yourself
That used to be the standard expected quality else the worker won't even get his license. In Europe you can see very old tiling everywhere and it was always perfect (I'm not talking of fancy houses but even 1900s coal miner houses)
Congratulations take with all dimensions and made the position holes water and everything with the big pieces to cover all wall in minutes but with the dedication hours are consumption! There are great difference in my country on the construction but only the difference is tools and facility and personal training. Thank you for sharing your job! Great quality and professional behavior! 🇧🇷🍺
Really nice job! If I could criticize one thing it would be spraying the caulking with soapy water before tooling it, it won't stick where the soapy water rests in top of the bead so you create a little area for water to sit/hide and develop mold. This method looks great but could cause problems in the future.
I think I’d still add a small notch on the wall too! Like 1/4” or maybe a Ditra trowel notch. I love me some Prolite. So stout! Keep killing it bro! Proud of you man. Bible says in Proverbs “ See a man skilled in his work. He will stand before Kings and Queens. He will not stand before obscure men” I too am I high end tile guy. I’ve worked mainly for the folks with money. Or modern day Kings and queens. Just like you! Keep it up!
I was wondering why you put a thin layer of tile adhesive on the wall, and more on the tile itself. I'm also tiling sometimes, but I've learned to put a thin layer on the tile and more on the wall or floor. You are a great craftsman 👍
So many tips and hacks in one video. Wish I'd watched this before doing my last tiling job... Would have just got you to do it!😅 Could you do a vid using rough textured tiles? Can't mark, no suction, tape won't adhere, etc
You do beautiful tile work my friend, I do plumbing and tile and just about everything in between but my tile work can’t hold a candle to the work you do on tile
In the middle of doing a home renovation. My contractor said it is not necessary to silicon the base of my tiles to the shower base, was wondering what is your take on that. Right now it is just grout in between the bottom of the tiles and shower base. Thanks in advance 🙏
I noticed you put the mortar right on the unfinished drywall. With all that weight on the paper should it be primed? or does the mortar act as a substitute primer integrating itself into the paper? Ive noticed it with this one contractor who subbed his tilework out to me, he would leave me unprimed/painted drywall to tile over, they would mud it but not prime it, which is really problematic with smaller tiles because it just reactivates the mud in the places where there it is thick, so it doesnt hold well and the tile will pop loose during grouting. He never learned and we would argue about it every time.
So I have a few questions. What is that vibration tool you used on the tiles? What grit sand disk did you use to polish the edges after you chamfered the tiles? What did you put the the mortar under the tile in the niche? What did you mix up to pit in the grout line in the niche?
Holy $#it! I just spent nearly a full day tileing the ceiling of our cabin shower and thought I was a hero! Im not qualified to do cleanup for this guy! 😳
Nice work. Looks like porcelain tiles. Or is it ceramic? Here in Brazil we have true porcelain artists. And that's a real feat because of how hard it is.
Tools tools tools ….! Everything is easier with the right tools and the skill to know how to use them 👍🏽 10% smarter than your tools makes a difference 😊
What is the name of the suction cup angle tool that you use to guide your hole saw? I didn't see it on the website you linked to. That was pretty slick!
Wow, the accuracy of the cuts and how tight the tile fits perfectly around all the pipes is amazing, impressive and next level stuff. I can’t even cut drywall with those kinds of tolerances lol!!!
How come that grinder blade seems to cut in a tile litterally like it's butter and when I try that with a diamond blade it chips like crazy and takes forever
definitely agree, but like he asked; no tile backer or atleast Some type of water resistance membrane over raw Sheetrock? Also have heard possible for the tile, especially larger heavy tiles like eventually pulling the paper off the sheetrock and all coming down with it. Seems like flawless finish tile work but no preparation for the substrate. Not criticizing but just curious of your opinion/ point of view?
@@krisjackson4408 Water seeps through the grout joints and gets the substrate wet. The drywall will never dry out and will get really squishy until it fails. Just matter of time. It works fine as long as there is a membrane between it and the tile. That's why products like Red Guard exist.
Tell me, please, if I understood correctly from the video, is $5,000 the cost of repairing one wall next to the window, or is it the price for tiling the entire plumbing unit?
Watching a master, with the best tools for the job, do their craft, is a thing a beauty.
Yes, where is the list of tools?
This guy is on another level. True craftsmanship right there
putting wall tiles first is a major error, by floor heating or dilatations, the botom of the wall tile will break
Tile laying was my first career trade. Watching him made me smile, reminded me of why I loved it in the first place. Beautiful work and skills.
Can you say Master Class!
This dude is a tiling Jedi!
Both the people who have the chance to hire and work for and learn from this guy are truly privileged.
Outstanding work, wish we would have had you when we built our house 2 years ago. The tile crew we had left a lot to be desired.
I absolutely love those mitered edges.
I like your style. You're a very good installer. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much!
Fun fact, I tiled a kitchen floor with ceramic tile, 63x32 i think it was, and the learning to be able to accomplish it came mostly from your videos😂
Great job man wow. I like the hole saw guide, ive never seen that.
Great workmanship and talent
An artist at work. He makes it look so easy.
Dude! You are a RockStar! Thanks for sharing.
Your extensive use of the laser would infuriate my boss LOL I, however, love them when used correctly. Your tiles were bang on mitres and good technique all around. I hope to be at least this good some day soon. I have the training and the drive, I just needed to experience more... like this
Sincerely, you are the best I see so far. I say myself as a handyman
"Truck and Tips " LOL,!
More like all the right tools, knowing how to use them and YEARS of experience!!
Great job!!
I think he's done that once or twice.
😂
Three or four at least
Or watched a UA-cam tutorial 😂
Once you get good at basic tile u could basically do these things first try. Comes down to being meticulous by nature or at least instilling it into yourself
Unreal. Technique and level of detail
That used to be the standard expected quality else the worker won't even get his license. In Europe you can see very old tiling everywhere and it was always perfect (I'm not talking of fancy houses but even 1900s coal miner houses)
My tiler is good who I have working on my bathrooms but this guy is a level up! Great work 👍
As a fellow tiler I commend you. It pains me to say that you exceed my skills. 😅
Same here and I'm super detailed. But I sure did just pick up new tricks to master!💯💯💯💯🔥
Amazing workmanship!
Impressive!! Love the epoxy around window opening
Yes never seen it done like that most of the time they use a schulter strip .
I’m jealous😂! But I’ll keep trying to do work of this quality!
Talk about achieving the impossible, the skills, WOW!!!
I had to watch the full video…truly mesmerizing. Keep up the good work!
What a master. That was incredible to watch

Wow! Great Job! You could make a new video walking us through the steps you are taking as you go along for us noobs =) ...very nice indeed
I was wondering why you put a thin layer of tile adhesive on the wall, and more on the tile itself. I'm also tiling sometimes, but I've learned to put a thin layer on the tile and more on the wall or floor.

Wow. I'm truly impressed.
That was spectacular!
amazing skills , and 5he right tools for the job well done
You stepped up your game big time and I might take a few tips from this
Looks like an amazing skillset and result! Definitely experienced!
Total Pro!! Nice job
Very good job. Identical to how i work.
But how do you move so fast.
In the middle of doing a home renovation. My contractor said it is not necessary to silicon the base of my tiles to the shower base, was wondering what is your take on that. Right now it is just grout in between the bottom of the tiles and shower base. Thanks in advance 🙏

I always prime or paint on membrane when sticking tile to drywall.
No words just work ❤❤❤
6:20 how did you remove the holding clips?
Hmmm. That was pristine! Might steal that beveling trick to avoid metalic edging for my niche.
Это вряд ли. Филигранная работа углошлифовальной машинкой подвластна не всем.
I'm not sure how long you've been tiling for, but dang man, good job. 👏👏 I hope to be able to pull a bathroom like that off someday.
5 years:) if you want to learn and try you can learn fast!
You a real one dawg, hats off on a damn good job.
Good job, you definitely applied trade skill in this one - every bit worth $5k for a solid surface redeux.
A master at work.
As a kitchen and bathroom remodeler, I have got to give it to ya. Awesome job.
Gotta say, he does some nice work.
You Sir are a Top G
Great job! 👏🏼
So I have a few questions. What is that vibration tool you used on the tiles? What grit sand disk did you use to polish the edges after you chamfered the tiles? What did you put the the mortar under the tile in the niche? What did you mix up to pit in the grout line in the niche?
Very nice tiling buddy 👍
You do very nice work. I love your attention to detail. 👍👍
Thank you so much!
Super clean. Nice work.
Thank you!
Holy $#it! I just spent nearly a full day tileing the ceiling of our cabin shower and thought I was a hero! Im not qualified to do cleanup for this guy! 😳
Love your editing style; almost reminiscent of the old kungfu movies
Very professional good job
You are insane Winni. Crikey 👌👌
Nice clean tight work ,you make it look easy
Absolutely brilliant!!!!
Amazing talent! Best I’ve seen!
Woah! That means so much! I Still got so much to learn though
Nice work. Looks like porcelain tiles. Or is it ceramic? Here in Brazil we have true porcelain artists. And that's a real feat because of how hard it is.
beautiful work, and beautifully put together video, thank you !
Hi buddy! Commenting from Norway! The results are great, but looking at your solutions its like watching a caveman!
Id want to learn from you.. that was great work my friend.
Beautiful work❤
What is that suction cup tool that you use to hold the angle grinder in place when cutting round holes?
How to make the paste that goes on the edge of the tile, it looks like grout or epoxy grout
Great vid and edit, curious the reason for epoxy on the window miter?
What did you use to fill the spaces of those mitered edges
Tools tools tools ….! Everything is easier with the right tools and the skill to know how to use them 👍🏽 10% smarter than your tools makes a difference 😊
This dude is master of his domain
Wow... that's it, just Wow!!
What was the point of that at 2:19 gluing the wood on there?
Hi, is there anyway you can share the saw (wetsaw or scoring tile cutter) you use in cutting the large tiles? Thanks
What does the epoxy in the miter joints do?
Beautiful work. What is that machine helping to apply pressure when installing / laying the tile or was it a polish / buffer?
Can you share tools you use in the video
He’s a real craftsman
What is the name of the suction cup angle tool that you use to guide your hole saw? I didn't see it on the website you linked to. That was pretty slick!
Hat did you use to seal the 45 degree cuts?
Wow, the accuracy of the cuts and how tight the tile fits perfectly around all the pipes is amazing, impressive and next level stuff. I can’t even cut drywall with those kinds of tolerances lol!!!
Yeah next level ... It's called doing your job.
I am new to your channel. I am interested in this job. Please can you tell us in detail what are the products you are using.
A true master!
Well done, one of your better videos
Thank you!
How come that grinder blade seems to cut in a tile litterally like it's butter and when I try that with a diamond blade it chips like crazy and takes forever
Dude.. good shit. Top tier tile work for sure. Whole process is refined beautifully
Thank you, learned a lot
Nice work. Question: Why no red guard?
definitely agree, but like he asked; no tile backer or atleast Some type of water resistance membrane over raw Sheetrock? How much time did it take you? Very clean work, thanks for the vid
What kind of mud are you using? Thing lays on like cake putty.
This guy's the man
Amazing talent!
With the right tools, any job is made easier.
A proper trade'sman at work , 😁😃
So clean
