Love Revalver. Highly underrated.
I love Revalver. It sounds great, it's not very expensive compared to the competition and Peavey don't cheat. A four channel amp comes with four channels. You don't have to buy several emulated amp sounds. You can virtually "replace" the tubes which is a great thing if you like experiments. Plus there is a third party module. That's the icing on the cake. You can integrate free amp and FX plugins into Revalver. I've used it for a long time and I don't have any intentions to get anything else.
i was only listening not watching the vid, and i immediately picked the 8 string to be the m80m. such a unique sounding instrument, and i am glad to own one. Been using revalver way back when it was still alien connections. Far ahead of its time, and still sounds good even today.
Fantastic demo! Awesome playing
Seriously good production and I ain't easily impressed. Compliments!
amazing tones
Sounds great and you are a very good player! Cheers for doing this.
Sounds good!
to me revalver is way better than Bias Amp 2, Bias FX.
I've had Bias for a long time. Took me almost as long to figure out how to tweak it right too. But i learnt so much about amps and amp design from using it.
I like the clean sound from the single coil guitar.
Sounds just as good as always. Love your choice for the 8 string!
great! and that valve king 2 is one cool versatile amp, though I hated mark 4 at first.
If you purchase the producer pack, do you get everything that you can buy from the shop?
sounds fantastic ! can i ask what your signal chain is into pc?
Guitar - Axe FX (usb) - Cubase 9(.5)
Sonic Drive Studio how important is the audio interface in the signal chain in your opinion? Im using a focusrite 2i4 and use same sims but your stuff sounds 10x times better. Is there much post processing going on with these demos ? Would be awesome if you would make a tut on the whole process of getting these tones :)
@@ShutUpAndPlayTuts of course there is a lot of post processing in this demo. The sound is too polished.
you probably using a good sound card ...my fast track did a latency problems , i should try again that stuff with new interface
can you give us the settings for the metal tone? thx
my favorite amp for metal is probably 6505 version, less gain than 6505+ has, but more open midrange
How do you have the 7 ltd tuned?
I watched a lot of demos when I was shopping for a go-to amp sim, and revalver always sounded the best to me. I downloaded it, and it doesn't work right for some reason. Out of the box, the gain is super low, like I'm not getting enough signal. All of the other amp Sims I tried worked fine. I was pretty disappointed.
Benjamin Haworth don't forget to calibrate the input gain in the input section!
I tried calibrating input gain, output, adjusting amp parameters, matched pickup RMS, deleted, reinstalled, and just about everything else I knew to try. I ended up with S gear, and I'm pretty happy with it, just a little bummed that revolver wouldn't work for me.
sound real tube amp? 😮
Having trouble between this and Bias fx.
I've been looking between the two as well, and I've come to the conclusion that Bias FX tends to have way too much treble in its stock patches. You can hear this yourself in multiple comparison videos between Bias FX and other software: Bias always sounds tinny and unpleasantly bright when compared to things like Kemper, Revalver, Guitar Rig, etc. on any stock patch comparison. I've decided to go for Revalver for this reason. Even if Bias is fixable with EQ, which it certainly is, I feel that's a major lack of attention to detail that points to lazy developers.
