The idea is cool but I felt unsatisfied by the ending. Too many things left unanswered for a really "whoa so weird" ending, imo

At first, I thought the daughter was going crazy from the stress of her parents breaking up. Then the ending happened. I can only think of two explanations and neither of them are good.
This story desperately needs a sequel.

The twist was a bit predictable, literally the second the assignment was mentioned I was like "And the ending is gonna be 'Oooooh, but there was no assignment'" I had hoped for something more original than a cursed doll. The fucked up things happening to the 12 year old, described in almost awkward detail, either tell us something about the author, or are there purely for cheap shock value (and I'm desperately hoping for the latter). I was kinda hoping for it to go in an a bit different direction, like the daughter was just dealing with real mental issues because her mother left, while the father didn't want to face it, maybe because he felt guilty, because he couldn't keep his family together, and just blamed it all on the doll. That would be a bit more interesting imo than a 103rd story about a cursed doll doing cursed doll things.

I don't know what to think of this 'Pasta. It felt like part of a much longer story, and the ending just didn't feel ... good.
Hell, everything about it just felt off. What kind of parent just ignores a kid fixated on a weird doll? And doesn't mention it to anyone?
