Just bought the book!! Thank you so much for this interview. I really didn't know about buying it because I just purchased the "beat cancer kitchen" which is so great....but after listening I just went on amazon and bought it. Fiber fueled was the book that healed my Crohn's disease and I wish this book were translated in french so I could gift it to all my friends and family!!

This was very informative! I learned so much and can’t wait to get Dr. B’s book!!! I was able to relate and kept sayin, “yes, that is me”! I knew that my gut health could improve with food, but didn’t know where to start. I don’t remember how I “found” you all a few years ago, but you are inspiring!

This provided more valuable information/answers than 5 years of doctor/specialist visits. I was told I have stress induced IBS with a gluten & dairy intolerance & put on the FODMAP diet. I even asked if I could have guidance going WFPB. Cannot wait to read this book! Thank you so much for this informative video… y’all are the best!

Thankyou so much Dusty and Erin for doing this interview. This is exactly the information I have been searching and searching for. I’m 39 and I’ve had just gut issues since a operation at 23. I eat a organic plant based mostly diet, exercise and see a naturopaths but no one has ever been able to help me with reducing my very long list of intolerances, and histamine issues.
Listening to this is such a answered pray, can’t wait to get my hands on this book, I’d love to be able to eat green veggies and legumes again 🙌🙏💕

This was such a great episode. I wish I was able to ask dr B a question while online. I have SIbO, and Egan diet is quite a struggle for me. I have maintained it for 4 years, however my SIBO issues are getting worse and worse. I just ordered this book and really hope I can find some answers in terms of healing my gut. Because so far doctors were not able to help me .

I love the first book! I'm so happy there is another book out! The recipes are delicious. I'm not fully vegan, but have not had any beef, chicken, pork at all in 6 years. I'm such an odd duck to my friends amd family. No one else around me is vegetarian even. I still eat some eggs and a little fish. Ive Been trying to build up more tolerance to beans and fodmap foods. I have been fully plant based at times but have struggled with digestive issues and can't handle gluten now. Slowly its improving. I had terrible stomach issues for the last 4 years following a very traumatic head on car accident and brain injury. Had a SIBO diagnosis after this, but there is such conflicting info out there, it's so hard to understand what to do. Gutt and brain are so connected!!

I love seeing y’all interview some of these folks I’ve seen a lot in all the free health summits I do! (Been into natural health for over 16 years-healing myself and always pick up major gems in all these interviews/summits!) Love Dr. Will. Probably have to get that book!! 😀👍🏼 love y’all ❤️ also the gut is the second brain!! And I’m actually on a protocol to finally heal my gut/leaky gut from when was little-never fully gotten taken care of. Spore based probiotics (microbiome labs) and like Biocidin herbal drops (potent to kill gut infections etc-used by tons of holistic folks!) with other things, added to the already healthy eating has been a game changer! Also liver/gallbladder support is huge!! Many have fatty liver not from alcohol, but from food! And as well, we ALL have parasites and should be doing a cleanse at least once a year. 6 months is better. Check out mimosa pudica seed along with like walnut hull/clove/wormwood will evacuate those buggers!!

I have IBD (Chrohns), and had an ileostomy back in 1997 because of ulcerative colitis. I haven't any large intestine or rectum. However I am able to eat a vegan diet through gradual introduction to beans and pulses. They now make up a large part of my diet, along with fermented and sprouted foods! Maintaining and flourishing your gut microbiome is essential!!!

Super good video. Thank you. I just got the book! My problem is that i have
hypoparathyroidism, and i struggle to control dangerous low blood calcium and high phosphorous tendencies . I am gradually transitioning to less meat and more vegetable based proteins like nuts and legumes and whole grains, but they are very high in phosphorous, so it is a constant balancing act. As well i have to get most of my calcium from pills because dairy is just too high in phosphorous, so must be limited, and most vegetable based calcium sources are too low and so impractical, i would need to eat bushels to get enough! My body cannot take calcium from my bones, so i must get enough calcium in timed doses every day, but not too much. I am the parathyroid now, so to speak. I also must avoid sodium as it binds with calcium, making me low, and if i get too low in calcium, i go numb and tingly at best, and risk seizures at worst. I also cannot get too much or things fall apart if my blood calcium gets too high. It is a lot to think about and stay on top of.
That said i have made amazing progress the last 7 months, after reaching a crisis last fall, landing in emergency. After much research on my own, and experimentation, and with some help from a lovely dietician, i did the Fodmap thing and came to many conclusions. My gut was damaged from several years of trying to keep my phosphorous low by avoiding high phosphorous whole grains and legumes. I kicked them up a notch, and started taking an extra calcium pill with my main meals that were high in phosphorous, and found it binds with the phosphorous, so i can still eat these things, and not crash my calcium. But amazingly i find i am successfully mending my gut, feeding my gut the fibre needs. My acid reflux and chronic diarrhea, that was causing dehydration and poor absorption of everything i needed, has almost disappeared! Thanks to eating a shipload of high fibre foods. I am a bit clumsy here, but trying to refine thing even better still.
I agree it is important to consider this a process. Rome wasn’t built in a day! There is so much to learn, and sadly only some doctors are just starting to get on board, and so i have to fly solo a lot. The book, and videos such as this one, and other books and videos by other doctors that are getting on board are key because people like me have complicated health problems, and we still need to work with doctors, we need solid advice.
The histamine issue is where i need to focus on more next, i have all the symptoms of histamine issues. But presently i am also moving towards getting sugar out of my diet. I figured out sugar makes my feet and shins burn at night. So i am experimenting with ways to make my diet palatable with little to no sugar, and most days i do pretty good! I am inspired to keep trying because i now actually sleep better when the sugar in my diet is under control. That means fruit sugar too. Again, i experiment, and am learning the amount of fruit i eat at once is key, and exercising helps too.
I need to read that book now, and solidify my efforts to get my gut running as best as i can and figure out what foods i can create a palatable diet for myself that still falls within the parameters of my hypopara diet. Which incidentally was originally devised by the brilliant endocrinoligist Dr. Aliya Khan, in Hamilton Ontario. Not all Endocrinologists advise this strict low phosphorous, almost zero added sodium diet, but i believe she saved my life with her good advice. Good grief it is a complicated life i live. That said i have come a long way in 7 months and some days things go a bit sideways, but channels such as this and doctors like you are saving my life and giving me the information i need. Thank you SO much! I hope Dr. Will Bulsciewicz reads my comment…you are such a big help to us patients that must fly solo when it come to gut health. You are the best!
