The numbering on the stairs is so good❤️❤️🚶♂️ i enjoyed ur hiking👍
thank you!
Before seeing this video, I hated to climb steps for hiking, but this is so awesome!! Going up the over 2,000 steps straight to the top of the mountain looks very challengable and the views looked down are so awesome! I've gone up almost 1,000 steps, though it was not straight up. I wish we have one in my nation, too. It was fun to watch!👍🤗
wow nice! thank you for your comment :)
Oh wow. Neverending stairs. Nice Dolly Zoom Intro. This is an amazing hike, but probably good that there are so many bailout points. Looks like very much fun and it must be a great feeling when you finally finished the exhausting challenge. Great video presentation again, Stoof and Nate. It was a joy to watch.👏👌 Best wishes, Michael
Thanks for watching Michael! It was challenging but worth it :)

Wow ! What an impressive hike ! You get amazing views very quickly 😊. The extra loop looks worthwhile also. Nice wee town too !! Greetings from Scotland 🏴, cheers, Don 👋
Can you go straight back down the incline once to the top or do you have to take the switchbacks to go back down?
@@zloading1 You can go back down, but it is not recommended. The railroad ties are very uneven in places and at a 68 degree grade in places, it is dangerous. That being said, lots of people do go back down the incline. I've done the incline once and I would not, as a 69 year old guy, go back down it. The trail is nice. I just moved to Colorado Springs recently and will definitely go back to the incline. It is an awesome thing to do here, but harder than I thought.
It’s very relaxing to be there❣️ Thank you, best regards
Excellent cardio workout😁🏃♂️🏃♂️!! Looked like... never-ending stairs! 17mn record 😲that's incredible. Was he the Bionic Man?? We have a similar trail where we live called the Goat Track (about half the steps though) that we do twice a week to keep in shape. This manitou incline, I am not sure my wife and I would do this twice a week😆. Great upload and info as always👍
nice! yes 17 minutes is crazy, it took us over an hour to go the 1 mile up the steps! thanks for watching :)
Such a great experience to captured this amazing place. Prefect place to explore. Walking on the steps is really. Amazing experience. New friend added. All the way from London.
thanks for watching! glad you enjoyed!
Love this vlog! Amazing share! Love it! 🥰👌👌
thanks!
Wow - this is a staircase into the clouds:) I can imagine that you get all sorts of feelings ranging from despair to jubilation while walking up the incline. But if you reach the top then you feel great and happy I can imagine:) In my country we have stated to build something called "Sherpa trails". That is like the Incline, but mostly using stones as the building material for the steps. The reason why it is called "Sherpa trails" is because they are built by Nepalese Sherpas experienced in building trails in difficult places:)
oh very cool! the Sherpa trails sound challenging too! thanks for watching!
great adventure my friend!!!
thanks!
Wow. That looks looks a hard climb. So many stairs. But the views are amazing. I wonder if one day they build back the funicular railway which once existed there. 😀
Yeah that would be pretty interesting to bring that history back! Thanks for your comment!
That seems very difficult! But the views are amazing!
thank you! definitely worth it!
Nah it's easy but they went the wrong way and gotta start over
Wow, climbing that ladder can take your knees to the next level! :)
This is so amazing and fantastic video I enjoy watching it keep up best my friend ❤💯
Thank you very much!
You sold me I’m a subscriber now! Enjoy this short information thanks
Welcome aboard! Thanks for your comment! :)
Wow... awesome...we are visiting Colorado next week...do you know any options for Pikes peak apart from driving or the rail......?
oh have fun in Colorful CO! It looks like you can hike 14.5 mi from Crags Campground to Pikes Peak www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/colorado/pikes-peak-from-the-crags-trail or it is only 5.5 miles roundtrip if you park at the Devil's Playground area (still need to drive up near it) www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/colorado/pikes-peak-from-devils-playground
@@TravelSzN thanks for the information 💕👍

Wow... 2768 steps, that's amazing. Enjoyed watching.
Glad you enjoyed it :D
Iron Springs Chateau Parking (444 Ruxton Ave) ...this 10$ parking spot is now mentioned on the website!!.... your 10$ parking spot is on the same spot!!
Oh very nice! Thanks for including this info in your comment!
You should try the Infinity loop coming back down. Gives you some great views and doesnt change the distance much.
Once you get to the top take the Barr Trail back down to the bailout. Follow incline down to the northern incline return.
This is my heaven on earth.
Thanks for the tip! It is an amazing hike!

It really is! thanks for watching :)
Very unique hike
Iam watching your video thanks for your sharing
Thanks for visiting!
I don’t like walking up steps. That looks really hard. Ha ha. Beautiful place though.
yep it was tough! i usually like hiking downhill more than uphill myself! lol
Coming from 1000ft elevation on the plains, is 1 or 2 days enough to acclimate? I really want to climb this. 7 years out on a bone marrow transplant for leukemia x 2.
Hi! Everyone acclimates differently. We both live at 1000' elevation but we were in the mountains for about a month before doing this hike. It was pretty challenging even being used to the elevation! I would say go for it, and there are a few places along the hike up where you can turn down a side trail back to the bottom of that incline if your body is not feeling good! You don't have to go to the top!
Awesome great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for sharing enjoy to watching beautiful video and like me 💝💝💝💝💝

Good information!
Glad you think so! :)
Hi great video. I would like tour around your channel x
thank you!
Great vlog. I don't know about you but I think that the numbers on the steps would make it worse for me!
haha this is true, the numbers might make it more difficult for some people! i personally liked the numbers lol that way i could not get in my own head and tell myself i was barely making progress. i can see this working the opposite way for some people mentally, though!
is there staff that check if you have made a reservation ?
yep - when you get to the starting point of the hike, someone was at a table checking reservations.
I am new friend, I really like your video
Thanks and welcome!
I’ve watched four videos so far on this hike up the incline, and not one video, said how long it takes to hike to the top, or to do the whole loop🤷🏻♂️
If you look at the link in the video description, you can see the distance for the hike on AllTrails.
@@TravelSzN I know the distances, but 2 people can walk the same mile in different times, I was just trying to get an idea of the pace and time for a normal person, so I could adjust my expectations accordingly. I’m a little out of shape and would probably stop and rest more than others, plus I’m coming from Florida, so I’m sure the elevation will play a part. But thank you.
Interesting guys
How did you prepare for the hike?
We did this hike after spending weeks hiking in Zion, Arches, and Canyonlands National Parks. The stairs were still tough, but I think doing strenuous hikes the five weeks before this hike helped prepare us!
I've done the Rim 2 Rim @ The Grand Canyon. I'm putting this on my to do list.
Awesome video!
that's awesome, the rim to rim hike is on our list to do some day!
Plz enjoy your videos
Don't worry you don't see the Maximum steepness of 68% slope just the false summit
👍👍13
But they have a city lot for free and then take the shuttle to the base

Manitoe!?!? Mostly I've heard it called Manitoooo.
It's Man a too
ManitoE??
lol sorry i mispronounce things sometimes!
The reservation system is stupid, it’s been open for years. I’m a spontaneous person, making a reservation Is a turn off to do it
