I have my first tournament game coming up next week and I'm soooo nervous. I've been watching a few of your videos and I really appreciate how you explain your movements and techniques so well! Everything finally makes sense. I am too a visual learner and watching this helped me realize it's easier for me to improve than I initially thought. Like BOOM, mind block shattered! Any tips on how to improve confidence while also improving technique? That's my main downfall. When I'm not confident, I'm not committed. And it ends up costing my team greatly.
Hey Rachel! The fastest ways to improve your confidence is to test yourself in practice. Set up a drill and if you do not achieve the goal you have tough conditioning. Another way, simulate a game were you are down 20-24 and you have to dig your team out of the hole. Let me know how the tournament goes!
@@volley.volley by the time you replied, I had already played my two tournament games and my team remained undefeated! Yesterday I read your comment and applied it in practice yesterday, it helped SO MUCH! We had our championship earlier this evening... and guess what? WE WON! I played the best I've ever played. It was awesome! Thank you for the advice. It + your videos have really helped me improve in preperation for this championship. Keep up the good work!
Very helpful video. I don't know why i can't pass very good and react fast when I'm thinking I should be really low and not in a comfortable position to pass
What kind of strength training exercises would you recommend to be more stable while passing? Also, I feel like I have really tight hips, what kind of stretches should I be doing before & after playing as a Libero?
I noticed that your platform is very hollow, is there a reason to do that, or is it perhaps from an injury or something? (Hollow= forearms apart, elbows far from each other)
Some ppl aren't actually able to touch both their elbows, but doesn't really create a problem. Yes it's if u can it's always better if your arms are closer.
Question are you supposed to interlock your fingers with a platform? My daughter is a beginner and the coach she spent a week at camp with taught the girls to interlock their fingers. I was told that is a no no cause you can easily get injured if the ball ends up hitting your hands by mistake
Thanks for reaching out Danielle! NEVER interlock your fingers! That is a sure way to break your fingers. Please let me know if you have any other questions! Good luck on her volleyball journey!!
This is what I always in a lifetime wanted to watch... thanks so much for sharing ill subscribe..
I’m so glad to hear it!! Thanks for supporting!

Great video thank you
Bro. Look at how much space there is in between your arms with how you show your platform. Are you a primary passer for your team?
Thanks coach
You're welcome! Thank you for your support! It is much appreciated!!
Plesaseee make a video on passing front row!!!
When you saying passing, do you mean serve receive or free balls and transition defense passing?
@@volley.volley free ball and transition

You’re welcome!:)
What should we do when ball comes on body
good drop steps
Thanks! Hope they can help others improve their game!
Hey. What is the correct position when receiving? Butt out or should I place my back and butt in 75 degrees angle?
You should be between 75-90 degrees and a squat like stance. Make sure your palms are up!
Make videos on float serve recieveing
That's a great idea! I will!

No you don't want to interlock your fingers. That could get you injured yes, but also, it limits your reaction time.
When I receive it really hurts
Apologies for the delay in responding, do you mean your forearms?
:0 Wild Cats
The problem I got with that is, that I see even high-level players who run around with the arms together far too early.
Coach lantz kinda bad tho😏
