Oh man so the window sticker works! Lol Yea I figured I would be brave/dumb and ride the ole car to vacation this year. I couldn’t have picked a better time with that oddly cool beach weather. Iam glad you commented
@@LeftForDeadGarage The weather has been odd for a few days, seen the car parked at a beach house then seen you role into the park across the street from town hall. I walked over and checked it out for a sec, did not want to bother you with your family. Then went to dirty Myrtle Tuesday-to pickup my daughter from the airport and seen you crushing 31. The car looks good man keep up the content.
I seen a police officer walk over there while we were at the park, I was thinking yep here is where I have to try to explain that 1964 Virginia license plate. 😂😂😂 You wouldn’t have been a bother at all though. I was heading to surfside to visit my stepmother before I headed back home yesterday.
It’s minimal compared to the kit I had on there, Iam thinking 5/8 or 7/8 per side. I could have swore I mentioned that in the video but if I didn’t I’ll gladly look into it for you. Thanks for watching
@jamieforbes3880 lol I was way off on my “remember” 🤦♂️. That kit i removed was like 1.500” it looked like a 4wd gm truck. If they offer an upgraded pad go for it. These in my kit create a lot of brake dust.
I had to call them when I ordered this. The PN got crazy because I wanted drilled and slotted with wilwood calipers and they were supposed to have been red calipers. I’ll see if I have the invoice though.
@elvergullio i can’t believe i found it that easy. So the brake kit pn is 5864SWBK-D-12-WWBK then is says for the rotors ARGX-9003L ARGX-9003R Shipping was outrageous $130, don’t remember seeing that before lol.
No problem! Call them and double check that PN. It had the rotor PN’s listed below the kit but $0.00 charge. I assume that kit number will include them.
Are those the Western Chassis spindles? They have the WC stamp on the backside. Im fighting my front end. Ive had 4 different brake setups and none of them fit how I need it to.
Honestly idk who makes the spindles, they were just what came in the kit. Give CPP a call maybe they can tell you. FYI be prepared for a looong wait before you talk to a actual person. Hope you get it sorted out
@@LeftForDeadGarage first I got a kit from POL. That was a joke. They sent the wrong kit. 2nd kit did not fit either (wheels stuck out too far) so now I just got the CPP factory style disc brake drop spindles and my caliper brackets dont fit them. POL really pissed me off.
@@LeftForDeadGarage I suppose that's how it goes when you do anything custom but dang lol I got hosed.. I wanted a zero offset drilled and slotted setup with 2 inch drop spindles but everything I found with spindles moves the wheels out too far and my 14 smash into the wheel wells and I cant lay it out.
Awesome video keep up the good work.
Thanks for watching
Those calipers and brakes really did look pretty easy to install. I did the same thing to align my frontend too. Tracks pretty good on the interstate.
I was very impressed when I opened the box to assembled spindles.
Good looking ride man. I see you cruzing my town this week.

@@LeftForDeadGarage lol no explanation needed my man.
You must be HBPD? Lol
GM ,im building a rolling chassis for my 64SS. If all of that is one kit, what is that kit #?🙏
what a sweet looking brake system, will you get that kit for the 55,
It came with a new speedway kit but I want drop spindles on it too so I’ll probably do this same kit on it too
hey do you know how much these widen the track/offset?

By chance you have the brake and spindle item number from cpp?

This guy is painful to listen to. Talk slower.
Yea I try not to do that, I always feel rushed when making content.

Oh man that is a dang hassle, iam pleased with the fit of this kit. I was really expecting some sort of BS but it was almost to smooth.
