Walking that track in 2007 ,saw large koala then a big brown snake 🐍 and then a large goanna!! WTF a very beautiful unique place 😍 ❤❤ 🍻 cheers from Byron Bay, great video thanks ❤😊
First time I have seen you and I really enjoyed the content. I am also in Brisbane and have started doing little tik toks with my fishing and I am in awe of how great your production is! I struggle to just clip the raw footage hahaha.
Nice vid, this is my local fishing area, unfortunately you picked the worst ledges and times. You need to go from the hastings street side at like 3am to make it to the gates by 4 to rig up. For first light. Then either top water or speed metals for pelagics or plastics for snapper.
ahhhh okay Hastings street ! is that way a bit quicker ? yeah the sunrise is a bit earlier these days and I ran way late haha thanks for the tips I'm keen to learn this spot a little more :) you recon after daylight for a couple of hours it shuts down ?
lol I went there (I think exact same location) couple weeks ago. I got my lure stuck first cast and it was so hard to climb over all over the sharp rocks and shellfish. I love Noosa I’m local
@FishingFixation yeah the rocks are bloody sharp mate😂 I tried to cast at a massive school of I think what were snapper but I missed and hit the side of the dang rock
Looks like nothing has changed at hells gate in 20 years. That’s the last time I fished up there. 25 - 30 years ago it was non stop tuna and trevally. Not sure what happened but it went crap.

@@XavierFishes hahaha yeah its absolutely shocking for snags 🤣 feel the feet after a good rock session there too

Thanks for not having spoilers at the start, sick of all the vids that do that. Keep it real and don't become a victim of the algo 😄
hahahah yeah man ! I also enjoy watching it all just unfold :)
I always upgrade hooks and splittys on metals!
@@hi_im_ep1k187 yeah ! Definitely upgrading all mine from now on 😬
Mate, i was over there at the same time as you uploaded this!
Did well in the river but not off ledges!
@@Thommoed69 hahaha ! Yeah man I’m definitely going to try the river soon. The ledges are hit or miss but just need some hours on them
Well done mate! Can you elaborate on the location and fish type, please?
Good stuff, try brisbane River for a threadfin on vibes. It would be a good watch.
@@gordondash9573 awesome man ! I must give it a go. Super keen to get one of those !
good stuff mate, not much luck but the views would be worth it
Emmm nice place just a flathead all day 😅

Nice video, unfortunately south East Queensland has terrible rock fishing I head to NSW.
@@thebeerhunter817 it definitely is a challenge ! 🥹
Great vid man! Its surprising how there's no mackerel or tuna swimming past thst headland...
yeah the water was pretty milky this time ! not sure if that had anything to do with it :) but am defiantly keep trying this spot !
You called it bro the old flathead
You Should try using bait I think it would work better than your lures
You know the bloke watches too much cavy and briggsy when he’s water releasing a flatty
@@joseph8852 hey now that flatty deserved a water release ! It was almost 40cm 🤣🤣 👀😎
I have been there so many times 4 5 years ago. That's place is ass mate. looks very fishy but hell no, definitely not a good fishing spot.
@@therealslimsht4522 hahaha damn that’s so annoying. Such an awesome rock fishing spot 🤪 good to know though thanks
