I'd say no. It's mostly just waiting until you're given an opportunity to attack with nothing in between. If you're gonna make a boss like this then I'd suggest making the opportunities to attack more frequent and having an idle threat like a slow spike ball moving across the screen to keep you on your toes. I, personally, would also try to find a way to incorporate platforming into the fight, at least more than jumping on the bouncing platform to get higher up.
@WakaWakaBeyaich_Arised tbh i kinda wished that the bouncy platforms would act like barriers to the boss arena and you'll have to avoid eggman's ball with limited space

well technically Sonic 3’s Super Peel out mechanic is already in Origins anyways, and no it’s not fake but it’s real, there is a code for the level select screen, so I would recommend to check it out.

The Bumpers You See Are Actually From Collision Chaos
