Bro..i got the same car. But my problem is my door lights wont work when I open the passenger side door. Not even on the instrument cluster display..so which wire should I check? Do you think I have to replace the latch?
Hey @partsshooter , your video was a huge help. Our front passenger door is having the same issue. Question, if I just cut that yellow/black wire would the door think its always closed or would I need to cut it and then ground it to something so it has a constant ground? I don't care if the car thinks the door is always shut, I just want the message to stay off my dash. Thanks in advance
Logically... yes. If you cut it, it should stimulate a closed door. I would de-pin vs cutting. If you cut, just leave yourself enough to fix back comfortably.
@@TAKL0722 Did cutting the wire fix the issue for you? I have the same issue and just want to cut the wire as the easy fix if it actually keeps the door open light off the dash.
I change the lanch and it doesn't work. I supose is the interruptor but now its no working the back door 😢 I chance the interruptor back but i thing the door back is the lanch.

@@partsshooter Ok, thank you again and for the quick reply. I knew I was thinking correctly but sometimes I second guess myself. lol

@@ehthis Yes it worked flawlessly. I just cut the wire and capped the ends. Message went away on the dash and I got my sanity back. haha
I put a new door latch on it the light still comes on what that mean
This was really helpful
