One reporter asked taurean prince how the other team out rebounded them
He said they jumped up and grabbed the ball more than us
that was classic. one of my favorites all time. lol
MacVince Mosquera yh I was baffled like what else would he say
I saw that, it was so funny 😂
Simple question, simple answer. 😂
Baylor vs Yale, a classic
Reporter: "Did you guys lose this game or did the other team win this game??"
This is the question that pisses players off😂😂😂
Russ
That question made total sense to me but I can understand how it might not make sense to some. They were basically asking if they lost because they didn’t perform or did they lose because the other team played exceptionally well.
This one yuuup
Nasho is Nuke King It gets boring after a reporter asks the same stupid ass question 50 games in a row
He’s got a good point. Post game interviews are absolutely insane and unnecessary. Lol
Exactly
And unscripted. Hard to plan a good response in advance like regular interviews
Ben Flikeid fax
ohshitgodie Or they should ask questions of the game later instead of *right* after the game finishes
Not every interview. Some are needed and good
Blakes gota be an actor or have his own sports show. Hes got a personality

Nah man his arms are too short.
@Stephen "The Dick Puncher" Smith
🤣🤣🤣
To be fair every one has a personality
THEVIPER 81681 my statement meant his quote on quote personality personifies that of an actOr very very uniquely and well. I’m aware every human has a personality. I don’t think you understood the context.
"How are you feeling about how you are feel?" That's meta af
After a big shot, they always ask « how did you feel when you made that shot? »

I'd feel bad for anyone who tries to heckle him

*puts mic in front of athlete*
Athlete: "Umm..that wasnt really a question...more of a statement?..."
Athlete: "Uh... sorry?"
I’ve never laughed so hard at a comment I think I’m about to steal some content
Dude I would've said smt dumb like "Um, yes sir."
It's more of a comment really
Athlete: "here, let me report while you play in my spot. Good luck!"
Blake Griffin should honestly get into acting after he’s done with basketball
Yeah he's got several commercials.
@@ThePenguinsfly21 His Kia commercials are amazing
even his comedic timing his great in this. 😂
Have you seen Blake vs Drake skit... shit is hilarious...not a huge fan of Drakes music but he is funny as hell when he does comedy
He was in an episode of Broad City
How did you guys win the game?
-We scored more points than the other team.
But how'd you do it?
-By putting the ball in the basket several times.
That's amazing.
Who said this again?
@@arshaddahlan i wanna say kobe
@@82shamroc idk man. I was thinking Pop 😂
I think kawhi said something along those lines
Pop said it
I agree “How did it feel” questions are the absolute worst. “How did it feel to go out there and win that game?” -“Umm, good”
Most morons probably feel the same = describing how you feel (options: HAPPY or SAD) is clearly difficult for these intelligent athletes! #wow
MK912 ya thinking for yourself after being asked questions you’re expecting is so difficult for average intelligence adults! #wow
I love the hockey interviews because the players have it down to three sentences at this point. If it's a good game they say things like well we are moving the puck playing our game getting it to the net and creating a lot of good chances.
Bad game well we got to be more physical get the pucks to the net and uh hopefully get more chances .
Both end with thank you lol
Andre Salazar I’m sure you’re some kind of super genius enlightened one
Kieran Maguire truth hurts morons like you! #DaFacts
Birdman as a sports reporter: “Is you finished or is you done?”

What do you know about his where...about
Lol ikr it's not even an exaggeration
How do you feel about the way you played tonight...they ask it every fucking time
Gotta love Griffin, one of the coolest athletes in the NBA. Great guy
JayE yea i love him 😭😭
Yeah same shit I always hear "....is one of the coolest players in the nba"
He seems kind of like a douche sometimes, but from most of his interviews he seems pretty chill
@Lavar Ball 😂 the reference tho
Lavar Ball just like kawhi
"Your team just won the championship, how do you feel?"
"Sad"
Blake has an energetic and fun personality. Definitely am able to see a career for him on television after he's done hoopin.
So true!!! Reporters ask questions like “what did u do to win the game” expecting players to have some secret plan they used to win
I mean, yeah. They do every game lol. It’s literally called a game plan
@@KKamm Yeah but thats still a dumb ass question
Reporters are idiots.
KKamm yea but reporters still expect some revolutionary answer that nobody’s ever heard before, and that’s never the case
KKamm yeah but the players are not going to go in depth like first we do this and the. If case of x happening we planned a and y and if y fails we’ll do f the after f we go with h, if we’re still losing we’ll switch it up to j etc. yeah they have a game plan but for the most part they’re simply playing the game
Blake know damn well he don't know any characters jimmy played on snl😂😂😂
I know Jimmy played one of the members of Blue Oyster cult in the Cowbell sketch.
If you go back and look at when he got drafted (ua-cam.com/video/4Yvfg6sNUUM/v-deo.html), ESPN said that his dream was to host SNL and he recorded it every week. Seems like he might be a comedy nerd lol
He should’ve yelled “MOVE!”
EEWWHH
Can you name any of Fallon’s characters?
Who got this recommended after he signed with the Nets?
“Amost everybody, but Pistons” Poor Blake lol!!!
Disrespecting D Rose like that, SMFH.
He seemed saddened
Dustin Metz haha good point!! I didn’t even think of that
Griffin is really funny. He has a great bit and his delivery is perfect.
That’s the X factor I know a lot of people who can come up with and write decent jokes given the time to do so. But can you deliver it in a way that’s funny. That’s where talent comes in. You can’t teach that.
he’s been doing it since college. i remember his Naismith Award speech, “I’d like to start by thanking everyone that voted......... for me”
It doesn't help that athletes are always asked the questions but in different wording. At the end of the day, you sound like broken record who only reply with cliche, cheesy answers.
In2umniaKillH3r and they’re asked things are meant to get a specific answer. The questions aren’t for the reporters to get players actual feelings about the game they’re more about the reporter getting the quote he needs for his article that’s already written and needs to be sent out as soon as the press conference ends
In2umniaKillH3r Yea true that but they getting paid millions 😂😂😂 they don’t care.
+1,000,000
that's why I love Kawhis interviews, he always starts it with "Like I said before" lol
Player " drops 30 "
Reporter : how does it feel to put up 30 points ?
Reporter: how do you think you made the fans feel by putting up 30 points ?
Reporter: how do you think you made your coach feel by putting up 30 points
Reporter: how do you think you made me feel by putting up 30 points?
Blake: it’s not that we’re actually stupid...
Kyrie: exists
Maximum Carnage yeah ok. I hope that’s sarcasm
Kyrie is an amazing leader, doesn't blame teammates and he has his own opinions on the Earth so leave him alone!! lol
@@footballsoccer358 anyone who thinks the earth is flat is a fucking moron.
@@footballsoccer358 lmao he's a horrible leader ands he throws his teammates under the bus constantly. the entire Celtics team did so much better when he was hurt and took LeBron to 7 games in the ecf, then he comes back a year later and creates the most toxic team chemistry ever, and his team does horribly. Kyrie thought he could lead so he left LeBron only to realize he can't lead a team to save his life
@@wesleypriddy8698 anyone who doesn't understand sarcasm is a fucking moron LOL
"You found out on twitter?" I guess Jimmy doesn't know how Woj operates.
When they stood up and Blake put his hand on Jimmy's shoulder, it looked like a father - son moment when the lad gets his first 'big boy clothes'.
That's what 6'10" looks like next to 6'. Jimmy's not short by any means. It just shows how monstrously massive NBA athletes really are.
When i tell you im ready for comic Blake Griffin. He is mad funny in the little clips and things I've seen him in.
"How are you feeling about how you are feeling?"
We did a good job executing
Blake has the most nonchalant comedy style. He always gets me laughing. He has a natural talent for acting.
Hated the Clippers but loved his Kia commercials.
When I was a kid I hated when Pop did interviews for the Spurs, as an adult he is the necessary evil
I know what you mean. I didn't realize it myself until I was in my early 20s how stupid the questions were. His responses were timeless.
I can’t imagine I would be any different. Most sports reporters never played sports which makes their question that much worse
Reporter: What factors contributed to you guys losing this game?
Pop: They scored more than us
I love how he mentioned the legend Kurt Thomas so nonchalantly like he was a fan lmao.
I also find this question stupid:
“Tell me what was going through your head when you made that shot”
Yep that's the worst one.
"Nothing really. Taking a shot like that which you've practiced a million times mostly comes down to muscle memory. I was happy it went in tho!"
Hope da fk it goes in!
flashback from my past training with sensei and the friendship built with the people I met along the way. hahaha.
and the i should never give up for the sake of world peace and humanity
Jimmy pretending to talk basketball is amusing 😭
“What do you think about this whole deal with free agency?” “Crazy, isn’t it” “with the nets and clippers”
I mean yeah but he’s gotta talk about the profession of his guests somewhere
Jimmy's a weak interviewer to begin who mostly gets by with charm and charisma rather than interest and preparation. Interviews with athletes are ESPECIALLY painful and cringy and expose that weakness.
@@zyxwut321 if you know all his flaws and strengths then you should just start getting on a stage and making UA-cam videos like your holding a talk show
Jimmy asked Blake how his first season was with the Pistons..which was not this last season, but the one before that. Jimmy doesn't know a damn thing about hoops.
"What got you into comedy?"
"Started with my dad when I was young".
Me: "Please confess that Will Ferell is your dad."
*Blake goes on to talk about SNL without mentioning Will Ferell, his obvious dad.
Also Pistons got Derrick Rose for 7.5 mil a year which is a damn steal and nobody talking about it not even Blake when talking about free agency
Yea because the both of them combined might honestly play a half a season together if that....
Nothing to talk about, they aren’t winning anything.
Reporter: “What was your game plan coming into this one?”
Player: “To score more points than the other team”
As usual, Jimmy’s guest is funnier than him and he’s shook
@@NoJeansBob Fixed it
If Griffin had the skills he has now during his jumping athletic prime he would be a monster
He can still jump it's just not something you should do now that you're near 30 consistently because as we've seen dunkers have horrible injuries and ending years. Hell look at amare for example
Jon Jones i mean if he never got hurt he’d be a monster
@@lordlightskin4200 ofc but watch his hops and athletic ability in LA tho they were something else
Every NBA “dunker” has had to evolve their game because the body can’t handle or sustain that level of air time forever. Look at MJ, Kobe, VC, etc.
Jimmy C didnt he say he would be worn out in february
Jimmy is so jimmy it’s phenomenal 😂

Jimmy’s PA is a friend of mine. He told me, Blake came in wearing a pair of casual shorts. Jimmy asked him to wear pants but he didn’t bring one. My friend who stands at 6’3, being the tallest amongst the crew, offered his which Blake gladly took.
Really?
Westrbook has the best comebacks to stupid questions.

I thought the same thing lol! He’s miserable unless they get another star lol! Which I can’t blame him! They are wasting his prime unless they get some one else! Unless you think d rose can bring it this year!
"How are ya feeling about how are ya feeling"!
Me - I am confused
Seems like the type that’ll become an announcer once he retires
congrats on Blake of the year! thats now the coolest thing youve done!
To be honest though, the sideline reporters (or any sports reporters for that matter....) almost usually ask the most stupidest questions to the players lol. You're asking stupid or rather rhetorical questons to a player when they most likely don't want to give you an answer.
I hate it when they interview athletes right after. Its like, DUDE LET THEM BREATHE A SECOND!! GO TO COMMERICAL, CUT TO THE COMMENTATORS, LET THE PLAYAS HYDRATE DANGIT.
How about after the NBA Finals? Interview with Kyle - "How do you feel after the off season last year, losing your best friend in a trade for Kawhi?" - that's the dumbest question in all of sports....
always loved blake one of my favorite players ever glad he's doing great in detroit
Absolutely love to see BG do stand up. Love the fact that he's paying his dues Ave embracing comedic culture totally.
Blake Griffin made me start watching basketball, Been a Clippers fan since 09 Blake might still be my single favorite player🤷🏾♂️
Ahhh...the inevitable moment where conversation naturally leads the guest to go right into their act.
I appreciate Blake on a new level after this, he’s always been cool but this was great💯🤣
Jesus he’s on point with that post game interviews. They are definitely unnecessary and stupid, especially ones with Westbrook, Harden and Leonard.

Too many forwards, maybe if you put kawhi on 3, PG at 4 and blake at 5 and go small like GS could work, but i think blake it's a natural 4 and that's his best spot
Matias Ibarra pg can play sg/sf kawhi can play sf and blake can play the 4 but i don't know if they would have enough money for those 3 players

I feel like this is especially true after close defeats or a game-winning shot.. they get zero chance to process it before some network pawn asks them the most uninteresting questions.
I worked for JFL that summer. Was the ticketing coordinator for that years festival and met him upstairs right before he went on, really cool guy, down to earth. He went on stage and opened with a joke about being more nervous for tonight (just 150 some-odd people packed into this small venue) than when he plays bball in front of 20K. Everyone laughed and the set played out like a movie. Respect Griffin
