Diesel engine, also known as compression-ignition engine or CI engine, was named after Rudolf Diesel. A diesel engine is a type of internal combustion engine in which the ignition of the fuel is caused by the high temperature of the air in the cylinder due to mechanical compression (adiabatic compression). This is in contrast to ignition engines such as gasoline engines or gas engines (which use gas fuel) that use igniters to burn the fuel-air mixture.
Diesel engines can be designed in two or four stroke cycles. They were originally used as a more efficient alternative to stationary steam engines. Since the 1910s, they have been used in submarines and ships. It was later used in locomotives, trucks, construction machinery and power plants. In the 1930s, they gradually began to be used in a few cars. Since the 1970s, the use of diesel engines in larger road and off-road vehicles in the US has increased. According to Konrad Reif, on average in the EU, diesel cars account for half of newly registered cars. In this restoration video we have Restoration old D8 diesel engine. Bn phải kiểm tra xem bươm cao áp, kim phun, piston,xi lanh, bạc biên, bi trục cơ, nấm su pắp. Có còn tốt hay ko ms dc, chứ chỉ đơn giản là tháo ra rửa và sơn lại là đc đâu

Dear friend, you should proper hand tools. For example using a pipe wrench for removing a nut is totally unprecedented. You should have used an adjustable spanner. Care must be taken to replace the wornout parts if it is available for long term usage. Next time, take care, have patience and restore. Goodluck.

Hello everyone. I'm new in the forum. I have a 28-foot sailboat, made in Argentina. ( I am from Argentina) . My sailboat has a diesel engine of Chinese origin.
The motor brand is SHUANGNIAO Diesel Model 275 WAC. 12,5 Hp
Manufactured by: HANGZHOU General Diesel Works.
I need if someone knows him. Who can have the manual for that engine. Or if someone knows on what basis it was copied, to adapt the spare parts.

Technically nothing improved. Only cleaning,painting then fix as it is

cleaning the internals after sitting for so long is VERY important.
If the engine is in good condition there is no point in changing anything. Keep it as original as possible
Cleaning the fuel injector is very important for extending its lifetime

Really..was that a restoration or lipstick on a pig? Bearings, piston rings...lash adjustments, torque specs...lots of shiny green paint
..meh...oh and the parts cleaning was priceless...glad I don't live downstream of the water supply.. where is your brain?

I was never a fan of these "restoration" videos, their washing the engine block with water in the backyard with a stream right next to them. water doesn't clean or mix well with oil, for got sakes get a parts-washer. the fact that all the parts where reused is just hard to watch, and no torque specs on the bolts? I can tell the engine is burning oil

Should have a larger washer pan...needs that instead of spray the area to be cleaned. Wonder what they do with old kerosene or fluid used to clean. Work all the time.
