Great idea. Any solutions as to what someone could do for overhead net install to avoid scoops/hit wedges? While not disturbing the garage door from opening and closing of course
Hey Ryan, looks like you have a heater on the ground. Have you looked into quartz wall mount heater? I have one mounted on one side of my ceiling facing me when I hit balls in my garage and it is working well for me(garage not heated and door is not insulated). Tested down to about -8c so far and hope it will work okay when polar vortex hits. Also, I am getting a blue recycling bin for my curtain style hitting screen. Fairly sturdy and the one I can get is about 3ft tall and makes it easier to throw the screen in and keep it in place when put away.
Really nice setup your garage literally is the same as mine ordered the net and now looking at a mat I have a few questions on the setup there seems to be a lot of choices for mats. I like the idea of the flight deck but am using a eyeline speed trap 2.0 to help my swing path not sure the flight deck would be big enough 1.what brand is your larger mat 2.do you plan on adding a projector screen ever
A quality mat cannot be understated. I did the "cheap" thing and ordered a basic one from Amazon. Within a few days of hitting 150+ balls per day, my wrists and elbows were feeling it. I ditched that and bought a thicker mat for $60. No more wrist or elbow pain. On another note, where did you get the netting? I'm looking to add to my setup in the garage and the portable system is showing some age.
Thanks for this. I copied this exact setup for my single-car garage and it worked out very well.
Great set up, Im working on mind now

Cool set up!
Where did u get that net
How tall is the white area? What height did you attach the cable at? Can you hit wedges without them going over? Great videos.
Where did you get the white net? Nice set up!
how far away is the hitting net from the hitting mat?
Could you / have you ever hit a wedge over the net?
I copied this exact setup and yes, I've accidentally hit ceiling and over the net a few times if not careful, fyi.
