Hey Guys! Today we have a look at my new rig the Trak Racer TR160! I've been using this for the last few weeks and I thought I would share my experience with you and tell you all my likes and dislikes!

Instructions have definately improved over time, Trak Racer have to their credit been listening to all the feedback given and been making changes to the packaging and instuctions to improve the customer experience.

I agree, I just got my TR160 MK4 and you hit the nail on the head, awesome rig. This Rig can be put together by yourself, but just expect to go through some trials and tribulations. As stated the aluminum profile is very heavy trying to hold 2 pieces together and screw bolts at the same time can be difficult (get a clamp). Putting this rig together is more of a two person job. It will be way faster and easier.
Thanks for the input dude! 😄 your so right, getting a clamp would make this a million times easier if your working by yourself! But I agree this is for sure more of a 2 person job haha

I bought this last week.. I am missing 50+ washers, atleast 5 of the specially designed silver nuts of theirs and also one of the mounts for the shifter.. The instructions were not available on the website when i looked so i found a set on the internet but they we useless.. I had to use other UA-camrs videos to help build it... Overall it looks good once built, but the actual building process is way more frustrating than it should be and the quality control from their end leaves a lot to be desired..
That’s such a shame dude. I’m sorry to hear. Have you contacted them at all? I didn’t have any issues with mine besides the difficulty building but nothing like what you experienced.
@@KyleSpoor yeah, I contacted them and they said they would look in to it, but haven’t mentioned if they will actually send the missing parts yet.
Well I hope they can help you out in some way. Every time I’ve dealt with them in the past its been super easy to get stuff sorted.
Ugh man im so close to buying a rig. I was looking at the TR160 but i keep seeing reviews and issues like this. It making my think twice. I saw a lot of them like a year or so ago and figured it was issues with the first runs from the factory but yours is recent. Iv been looking at this or the GTOmega prime. Would love a simlabs PX1 but they are always sold out.
Would you recommend the Tr120 or the Tr160 im moving to a new house later next year and im looking for a solid rig for f1
Hey dude!! I think it comes down to what you want to spend 😄 I have a TR160 and I literally use it everyday! Being a big dude I went with the tr160 and it’s honestly been the best purchase

I have a dd2 and need a new cockpit so I need to know if this will have any flex with 25 nm
Hey dude! I currently use the adjustable wheel deck but you can get mounts specifically made for the dd1 and dd2. Using Either of those with This rig would be super sturdy!
