Hi, this is an older video, and I hope you’re doing well. ❤💜 I remembered your purple Chaya review, and lo and behold, I see your red Melrose review as I purchase them. In general, I love your videos because we skate the same way and look for the same products. I’d definitely want larger gummy wheels on mine too, as I skate trails and streets. Also, the only Moxi skates I didn’t sell were my Jack boots. They provide way more support than the Lollies.
@@jeaninejulian2596 hi there! Glad my humble videos helped! I scored a 2nd hand pair of chuffed skates this week too which are nice. I plan to leave these at work so I don’t leave my skates in the car over summer. Still prefer the chayas though.
Awesome! I hope you enjoy the Chuffed skates. The only issue I had with the black pro boots (that look like flames on the inside) was a slight structure collapse on the inside of my right boot. I spoke with customer service about it. I’m not an aggressive skater on trails and in the rink, but they are 2 years-old. I think the Chayas will certainly last longer. Good idea on having an extra set outside the car. 😉
I am on Day 32 of skating indoors and only just realised it was the cushions that were too hard in both my Chaya Elites even after loosening the trucks. I can finally do the bubbles which should really be called scissors. The premium will have to wait till I can confidently skate outside 😅 thanks for the review I have heard that the rounder edges of the wheel means less stable so most likely change them on my first attempt. Currently using rainbow rider wheels/impala wheels indoors 82a as the Chaya wheels are just too grippy.
Thank you for your review. I was trying to decide between Moxi Jacks & the Melrose Elite. I am happy to say I am going with the Chayas. Do you have a video or recommendations for cushion replacement? Thanks again! 🛼
@@MarisaSmith-i7k I just contacted my skate shop and asked for the ones that fit and chose the softest ones. I skate every week and haven’t needed to replace them yet
