As far as I can only speak of my own brief experience, first I was agitated greatly when my walk began, it's taken nearly 2 very long years and now I am amazed. Every day is a battle of discipline though I'm the happiest man on earth, pray for me so that I can be baptised as I'm struggling to find a local church that follows God and not the world if that makes sense. Glory to God, peace be with you all.

My son has a valid questions that I'm having trouble answering. Why does God make it so hard to be friends with Him, especially kids? Why did He create angels knowing Lucifer would betray Him then give Satan so much control over Earth and cause so much pain and suffering? I get the same "canned" answers that make it hard for me to give him an answer I feel comfortable telling.
Hello dear can I attempt to answer. It isn't hard to be friends with God it takes great faith. Great faith in a sense not moving mountains faith. But believing God for yourself in spite of everything that you think repels God. Read Genesis 18 with him and Job 23. It takes confidence that God loves us and wants our company. The bible teaches that tested character is a treasure. without suffering we remain prone to temptation. It appears as if God used evil as an opportunity to bring out the best in us and cutoff the worst. Why he created angels probably the same reason why he created us and everything else.
God has given us a gift of free will. We can either choose him or choose the ways of this world. We can choose to be his sons and daughters, or we can choose to be an enemy of God. In other words, God doesn't make it hard to be his friend. Rather, he gives us a choice to be his friend or his enemy. He doesn't force is upon us because if he did, then we would be no more than robots created in his image that have no choice but to do whatever he says. He created all things, including the angels in this way. Satan, once known as Lucifer, chose to exalt himself above God, which made him an enemy of God. Ultimately, the answer is the gift of choice that God has given all of his children. We can either believe in his promises and choose to follow Christ and be saved or choose our own path and struggle to figure things out on our own. God said he would never leave or forsake us. If we truly believe this and have faith that Jesus is our Savior, then we can never fail cause he has never failed. God will always be your friend, but do you choose him to be your friend as you choose your other friends? I pray this helps and that God gives you wisdom for the questions that your son is asking. the third part suggests to me more like "keep it in front of you", like putting the word on a small piece of paper and stick it on my computer so that I see it often, even during my work. Otherwise if could happen that I realize this is true, but it is quickly buried under other stuff of the day and maybe forgotten.
The archangel Gabriel is the Word of God, and the Word of God is the seed, and the seed is the creation of life. Christians by traditions have been manipulated, as words and actions never match. Have heart and less ambitions, don't let life pass you by, think less, rejoice and be glad for what you Go(t)d. That's real humbling.

Would you be so passionate about your God if there was no promise of a big mansion in the sky and everlasting life in Paradise? I don't think so. All of God's wise words and his declarations of love for mankind would mean nothing to you, you might still believe he exists but the threats of Hell and the promise of an afterlife would mean nothing and the human species might finally come to its senses. Sounds a lot like Buddhism, that most gentle of religions.
For the dumdums here: don't attempt to reverse the burden of evidence. You make a positive claim and we don't believe it, so it's up to you to support your claim with evidence. It is Not a logical concept to 'dis'-prove that which has not been proven, First! Second, absence of evidence IS evidence of absence. Furthermore, absence of evidence when your hypothesis claims that there should indeed be evidence is strong evidence of absence. ----
You don't hear Derek Prince asking for money, he gives free because he recieved free. He is not a television evangalist with all kinds of bells and whistles, he traveled to people, not the other way around.

While I sometimes dislike his very strict judgement - if not to say condemnation - of other religions, I admire his great honesty, his knowledge of the bible, and his ability to explain very clearly.

How you can get faith.
1 Give attention to my words
Total undivided attention. Shut everything else out.
2 Incline thine ear to my sayings
Attitude of humility. Be willing to be taught. Bow down your head, a desire to be taught.
3 Do not let them depart from thine eyes
Focus on the Word of God. Don't let traditions distract you. Two main gates for attention; the Ear Gate and the Eye Gate.
4 Keep them in the midst of thy heart
Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it springs the issues of life. What is in your heart will determine the course of your life.
Guard your heart with all your strength, for everything in life comes out of it. You can't have the wrong thing in your heart and live right.
You can't have the right thing in your heart and live wrong. The heart is the source of all life that we need. Get God's Word into your heart.

My son has a valid questions that I'm having trouble answering. Why does God make it so hard to be friends with Him, especially kids? Why did He create angels knowing Lucifer would betray Him then give Satan so much control over Earth and cause so much pain and suffering? I get the same "canned" answers that make it hard for me to give him an answer I feel comfortable telling.
Hello dear can I attempt to answer. It isn't hard to be friends with God it takes great faith. Great faith in a sense not moving mountains faith. But believing God for yourself in spite of everything that you think repels God.
Read Genesis 18 with him and Job 23. It takes confidence that God loves us and wants our company.
The bible teaches that tested character is a treasure. without suffering we remain prone to temptation. It appears as if God used evil as an opportunity to bring out the best in us and cutoff the worst.
Why he created angels probably the same reason why he created us and everything else.
God has given us a gift of free will. We can either choose him or choose the ways of this world. We can choose to be his sons and daughters, or we can choose to be an enemy of God. In other words, God doesn't make it hard to be his friend. Rather, he gives us a choice to be his friend or his enemy. He doesn't force is upon us because if he did, then we would be no more than robots created in his image that have no choice but to do whatever he says. He created all things, including the angels in this way. Satan, once known as Lucifer, chose to exalt himself above God, which made him an enemy of God. Ultimately, the answer is the gift of choice that God has given all of his children. We can either believe in his promises and choose to follow Christ and be saved or choose our own path and struggle to figure things out on our own. God said he would never leave or forsake us. If we truly believe this and have faith that Jesus is our Savior, then we can never fail cause he has never failed. God will always be your friend, but do you choose him to be your friend as you choose your other friends? I pray this helps and that God gives you wisdom for the questions that your son is asking. the third part suggests to me more like "keep it in front of you", like putting the word on a small piece of paper and stick it on my computer so that I see it often, even during my work. Otherwise if could happen that I realize this is true, but it is quickly buried under other stuff of the day and maybe forgotten.
