It would be more helpful if it had been given along with the Bible references. But, still it is useful
God bless this man. I love him like a brother and I'll never have the privilege of meeting him in this life. What a beautiful ministry, its been such an encouragement to me through my walk of faith.
I first came across Derek's teaching in 1982 and followed him until his death in 2003. I was blessed to see and meet him a dozen times from 1982 until 1992, but I continued to follow him and his ministry. Even today I have LOTS of video and audio cassettes of him.
I had 3 favorite bible teachers but Derek was my favorite, because he covered it all and was faithful to the Word.
Derek Prince is the most anointed teacher of biblical scripture in the last 200+ years. No one else even comes close.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God!!! The more you hear, witness and learn Christ truth…. the more your faith increases. I read the word out loud often and it truly does something quite special to you. It resonates more as you hear it come out of your mouth and it makes you feel this deep intense feeling inside. It’s hard to explain… you have to experience it for yourself! Try it! I delight in reading the word to my precious sons! Thank you Jesus for everyone and everything I have in my life!! That’s one thing that has worried me for such a long time; the fact that I have too little an appetite for the word. I have this nagging worry that if I really am saved, I would have a strong appetite for the word of God. I’ve heard Paul Washer say that he really had to work hard to read the word. He said he had to read the verses several times in a row to try to remember any of it. I have little concentration in anything. I have had times though, when the word has comforted me, leaving me in tears, thanking God. I sometimes think there’s no reason why I shouldn’t want to read the word, so why don’t I ?
Too often though, I have the thought that if I read the word, It’ll just tell me I’m not saved and probably won’t ever be saved. I am thinking nowadays that those thoughts are probably attacks from satan.
@@jazzman1626 1 Peter 2:2 says, desire the pure milk of the word so that you will grow (in Christ). In order to desire the word of God is you must be studying it twice a day, every day according to Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1:2. And pray over it every time you begin to study it. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand it, to bring light and give you heavenly anointed wisdom. It works for me every time. 😊👍 You may not get it at first immediately, but you will understand eventually. You have to be in His word twice a every day. And every time ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten it for you to understand and then over time, you'll get it and have a true hunger for His word. 😊

Thank you. I shall set a time in the morning and in the evening for the word. I will have to “stop listening to the devil” as Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones once shouted from his train carriage to a frantic man running to catch up to him for advice. The devil has had me in fear of the word condemning me. I should have known better. I’m going to listen to the sermon again. I watched a couple of them with my wife. A couple of years ago, I never thought I’d hear my wife say “put it (the sermon) on the telly”, instead of the rubbish that was on the TV at the time!

Jesus is the living word. To know Jesus personally ,u need to be in the word bc it's Him! It's like brushing ur teeth , u prolly do it at a certain time every day, same w/ the Word. Be disciplined & set a time & JUST DO IT!
A spirit of omission is attacking you & is in your flesh. Confess & Repent of sins of omission bc ur omitting reading/ studying the word. Ask Holy Spirit to then deliver you from it!

I had the same skin condition, Itching , it will hurt and bleed after scratching it took my whole body and like any skin condition you feel embarrassed because people can see it , I was healed by the power of God , his mercy , his love.

True, I am a lecturer at a university and I feel so sorry for many of these poor souls. Especialy when we sit in meetings, I see some professors with one foot in the grave, still trying to achieve something, the carrot satan put in front of the educated, its just sad.
I always pray for them. That they come to the light. I just want Jesus, thats all.
If you're truly a child of God, the light in you will always overpower the darkness education brings in your relationship with God.
You will never compromise in any position when it comes to love your neighbor and keep God first.
Treat people right, then you can testify to them in life and in word. Seek greater and greater purity and holiness with God. I speak to myself here.
