I've literally just started upgrading & performance enhancing my 95 accord. I'm no mechanic, I've learned as I go. I've done new radiator, new speed sensor, cold air intake, new ignition assembly, new instrument panel cluster, new brake lines, slotted & drilled brake caliper, just ordered halo LED projector headlight assembly. I've installed everything on my own, speed sensor & brakes were bane of my existence on the days I did them, had help with those two things only. I never was into racing or upgrading my car but once I started, I became addicted to it. Learning how to install these parts & then correctly installing them brings satisfaction & I can't stop lol after headlights I'm going to start in on the turbo kit. I'll have enough money by then. Great video man.

After my next installation, I think I'll start in on throttle body & then making sure car can handle the hundreds of HP I'm going to dump into it & torque. Suspension & stuff like that. For anyone looking for the woodgrain console piece it's found on the 1st gen Acura CL. You can actually swap almost all of the cl interior into the CD accords.

I owned a 96 4 door with a 94/95 grill. Debadged, Shaved side moldings, trunk key hole, emblem holes, antenna hole, windshield wiper holes, repainted champ white, jdm front headlights, rote gt3 wrapped in bfgoodrich gforce tires, it was sleek and clean. God I miss it.
It's not so much standards as it is executing the vision I've had all these years. The car will most definitely be done because I promised myself I wouldn't start on the Cadillac until the other was completed. I'd be happy to be participate, but make sure you got a lot of memory because I can talk and share stories, as well as the CD history for days.
man take your time, those H22 engines are not cheap unless you find a donor Prelude, i been searching for a good donor & i was gonna do something aloooot of people don’t like the idea of lol, i have a 1997 Accord 4dr Special Edition (cherry black/midnight purple gloss) & it has a newer Replacement F22B (non-vtec) engine in now i believe about 100k miles on the new engine & newer transmission with 90k miles, when i find me a prelude i may swap the F22 into the prelude & the H22 into the accord or just say fuck it & do a K series swap on my accord & keep the prelude as another build car
Love my 94 cd5..4 doors look the best imo. That's a clean ass coupe tho 💯 Love that H swap, looks hella clean. Hopefully my single jingle gets close to those numbers lol time will tell

This year got the head ported/cut .030", Delta 272, bisi springs/retainers, and a pherable ecu. Waiting on the new valves to assemble the top end. Just subscribed bro

Mine is a 17. 22,000 miles so far great cars, currently working on a 06 sti that blew the motor getting a built bottom end with forged pistons, that one belongs to a buddy of mine who details my car. After im done with his ill do my own bottom end with forged pistons as well and upgrade fuel pump and injectors.

I remember my first Honda...93 civic 4 door manual- it was a real piece of junk. But I liked it, then I wrecked it. Ten years later I bought an accord coupe v6 3.0, that car was sick!! As of today I am a Ford and Honda/Acura only guy. I drive a 2001 F150 with 130k miles and an 05 RL also with 130k miles. I wouldn’t change from those brands for nothing.
though a "special edition" Honda Accord did come with the wood grain bezel, it did not have the divets for the heater seat buttons.... maybe one or none. and the recessed area where the hazard button , clock and fog button is black. you always know its from an Acura CL if it has 2 heater seat buttons. find a wood grain cup holder cover from the newer version Acura TL to finish the look off same grain texture. sic ass whip tho.

I have a stock black 94 EX coupe, F22B1 , 5 speed manual. Original owner. I go through inner CV joints all the time. They get loose over a few months and clunk putting it reverse or between shifts from stop lights and slow speeds etc.. Even now with level 0 Driveshaft Shop axles, which were beefy. Car is all stock, except for solid poly motor mounts. Factory suspension and height. I rarely get on it hard. What axles do you use? And do you also have to constantly replace them in daily diver LA traffic? Honda discontinued OEM axles. Thanks

@@AutomotiveAnatomy Yea, but I kinda hate my 94 honda accord seat, feels like having nut huggers pants on. I miss my 95 Honda tho, suck on my fam sold it without permission. if I was rich I get 90's Honda pimp out without the electronic garbage they have now. I heard some of new 2000 honda have a problem these days.
