Another great video keep them coming! I really enjoy the videos with the kids because it helps me try to figure out how to go fishing with my own kids to keep them entertained so I can stay out in the boat longer! The one without a life jacket kept me on edge, please put a life jacket on them both so we never have to hear about anything bad happening to kids and water, God forbid.
Yeah its pretty easy keeping mine entertained. They do their own thing and if the fishing action is good it keeps them interested. A key to taking kids is snacks and drinks. Make sure you have a good supply of snacks. You shouldn't worry about the kids because if you're watching the video it's in the past and the kids are fine. I'm right beside her at all times within about an arms reach away. I'm fully aware of what's going on and the boat is not moving. If she falls in she'll get a little wet and I'll pull her out. Honestly though my kids are on boats all the time. Kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, ski boats, ocean fishing boats, smaller fishing boats and have not fallen off yet. They don't want to fall in, they're scared of the water. Sometimes they're in life jackets, but sometimes not. In Canada it's not mandatory so for now we use discretion when they're ok and when not. Thanks for your concern.
I love your vidioes, missed your crazy enthusiasm in this one lol but so awesome to see how patient you are with the kids not allot of dad's out there that do that great work. Your the first fishing channel I've suscribed too I've learned allot from yours. keep up the good work!
Thanks for the positive words! Yeah when I'm out with the kids and there are boats fishing all around in the area I keep it toned down on the loud and enthusiastic scale just to be respectful of others. Especially when there are kids in other boats not catching anything, I wouldn't want to give them a complex. Have to be patient with the kids they're still little and learning. Have to be make sure they have a good time out there so they keep coming out for years to come. Thanks for subscribing and watching. Glad you find them helpful too!
The Fishing Doctors Adventures Starting to get my kids into it have a girl that's 5 and a boy that's 3. Tough to keep their attention though even on a good fishing day, maybe 30 min lol. Where in Alberta are you from? I'm in Provost new to fishing in Alberta grew up in Sask trying to find some good places to bring them. Dilberry was fun with them this winter caught one just about every time i dropped the hook. Just to bad the perch have worms and didn't get a trout over 12".
I'm from Edmonton but haven't lived in Alberta since 2005. We usually fish north of the city so I'm not too familiar with the fisheries in your area. Too bad about the perch. I've never caught one with worms before. Your kids are the same age as mine. They seem to entertain themselves. probably helps that they've been on boats a lot since they were born. They like it out there.
Ive been Out that way as well with my buddy. We were catching kocanee if thats how you spell it. We were catching like 20 a night . and keeping them . I ask my buddy is there a limit? He says yes but he is Greek and they eat everything and keep it too hehe. It was fun and we caught them on a fly rod but we used an electric motor . You would let your fly sink real deep and turn the electric on. Shut if off and the fly floats back down .Thats when they hit it. The biggest I say was a pound and a half. Not big but real good eaters.Great video ,I love it when the kids get involved. Cheers from Ontario.
