  • I could only find one other video about this so I made my own. I did a couple of dummy runs to see how to do it and I recommend anyone else doing the same.
The only thing I missed out was to mention it's a good idea to do this with the engine warm.
    Hope this helps.

That's a very good video and really appreciated Floyd. And you're not an idiot lol, it's called wisdom. Dealers want £600 to replace all 4 glow plugs. I'm tempted but not confident as I could make it worse - probably buy the tools suggested. Mines done 60k miles...66 plate. Thanks again

Thank you so much 🙏 for showing a good way (incl. emphasing critical moments in this task 🍀) to do it without removing the Turbo.
My week old Corsa D 1.3 CDTI 2013 looks pretty the same under the hood and have ok Glow Plugs, but incase later they have to be replaced, I concider your Video very helpful 🍀🙏

Thank you this, I had attempted this already and got thwarted by the turbo on the only blown plug. I will give your tip a go.

@@floydraser4603 It went well. Removing the bolt from the turbo was quite easy with a flex head ratchet spanner. Thanks again!

I know I have at least 2 to replace on my volvo v50, but they are down the back of the engine out of sight behind the turbo, the characteristics are a very hard start with a lot of blue smoke when its below freezing (extremely hard at -13, but it did start)

I think warming the engine and soaking the plugs with easing oil works in all cases, and being careful when taking them out; be gentle for fear of snapping the plug. That's my research anyway. Good luck.
