1:19:02 My grandparents have had one growing on a 5' diameter oak tree for at least the past ten years. When I finally decided to id it about 5yrs ago it had produced two fruit clusters. The smaller one was about 12lbs and the big one was over 15lbs. We got very little rain this year but it did pin (golf ball-sized pins 🤣) enough for cloning. When the rains fall right, man that thing is impressive. There's also large areas that fruit tons of golden chanterelles under the same conditions literally 100ft away. I found 16 different species that day I took the maitake clone, pics on my community tab.

The section on DNA is fascinating, I ordered a mini PCR 6 months ago and it still sits on the shelf unopened. I think it's time I learn to use it. It's kinda shameful I haven't done anything with it yet.

The P. allenii patches are due to fruit within days, I NEED video of Pink Pans, heart-shaped, tiger-striped and the crooked-stiped early versions. I also have to check the square red caps (square-heads), in the English-speaking part of town.

I have to stay awake, finishing breeding steps, mixes are handy now.
The early Serotonin-containing edibles: had Pan cyan mycelium hybridised with leftover "melange forestier" (dried forest fungi), already used the Boletus edulis from it. After several weeks, I have fertilised those that can be, using Pluteus X Ovoid X Pan cyan hybrid spores.
The Pluteus X Ovoid X Pan cyan pileus (cap), dried 1.95 grams, the Pluteus americanus parent weighed 1.5 grams dry.
I had some leftover cheesy hybrid in a coffee cup, it STILL smells like cheese. We will see, if the cheese X white button mushroom hybridisation is successful (least spoiled out of fifty button specimens) ..some have a chance of being part Por-take as well.
