Some good tips, but there is no chance in hell you kill a Nasus early with Second Wind and Doran's Shield as a Xerath. Wouldn't have made any difference at all if he took Comet. I go Sorcery/Dom mostly too, but thats just kinda delusional thinking Nasus would be killable. This one had Lethal Tempo for whatever reason, but if he wouldve taken Fleet like other Nasus' then the chances would be near 0 to even do impactful poke. Edit: Also the negligence on Horizon Focus is concerning. Not even mentioned. And it's a really good item on Xerath if you dont wanna go Rylais/Malignence route which I feel is not doing that much dmg. 38:30 That's exactly why Zwag thinks Xerath is a bad champion (which he is. 49% WR Emerald+ and 46% WR Master+) There are so many champions in the game who can kill squishys AND tanks easily. Not being able to solo carry the game while being like 15/0 as a Xerath just because someone builds 1 MR item is bad balancing and champion design. Yes LoL is a "Team" game, but consider if the rest of the team was dogwater and you had a 0/8 adc like every second game. You won't get to say "oh they will kill the tanks" Another edit: Where you are 100% right and do way better than Zwag is using your ult almost permanently. Zwag sits on his ult sometimes for minutes. Even if you dont get a kill and just ult to bot, you at least make them need to back or be in a bad spot. And Zwag only ults if he gets a kill out of it
Ik Zwag can be a little controversial, but I still love his vids. Eboy is the most underrated on the FFS, even tho he's so knowledgable and has great tips! Zwag is a very good player, but he tends to rage (most League players, so what's new). This is a Grandmaster game believe it or not. He did a Zwagmo climb with Teemo and made it very far! He is currently doing a jungle climb too. As much as I hate smurfs in my games, Zwag does it for content and fun builds bc that's literally his job, and it's working out for him. He said that high elo gets pretty repetitive and you can't test new builds or champs, so there's not much content to see. Zwag is so successful bc of how many champs he can play. I think Eboy is better at macro and the little details than Zwag though.
zwag is so successful because he caters to the youtube algorithm without regards to the health of the game or the enjoyment of other players by having a bajillion smurf accounts and doing offmeta builds that would never work otherwise in low elo, because sensationalist, goofy-ahh clickbait content is the lowest-hanging, easiest fruit to pick. You wanna know how I know this? because despite constantly shitting on his fans who, without pay mind you, help him make his staged, fake content in streams by joining his premade 5v5 games, only to be yelled at anytime things don't look amazing in the video, banned if they even slightly question him or stand up for themselves, or called slurs and then banned if they rightfully call him out on it, he still is able to be successful, all because he hopped on a youtube meta trend and because he very carefully adjusts his persona on youtube to look very chill, nice, and levelheaded as compared to what he's actually like on twitch. In reality, he is an extremely washed former xerath one-trick who couldn't hold up over the years to the new players entering the game and rising the ranks, and failed upwards by falling into the rising trend of low-effort, clickbait content on youtube, which came to his rescue just in time. This becomes increasingly apparent every time he "attempts to satisfy his fanbase by doing a high elo xerath vid" once every like 7 months, only to do extremely mid/mediocre, and then cease any content like that for many more months because it's a lot harder than the usual low-effort garbage he pumps out and because the fanbase he eventually fostered is composed almost entirely of either rot-brained children who defend their senpai to their last breath even while literally watching him constantly diss his own fanbase, or people who only see him be chill on youtube in edited content and don't see his toxic side in streams, and those people he's attracted with said low-effort content are not interested in actual educational videos demonstrating plays that take effort and finesse to pull off, but rather stompfests and clown fiestas in low elo where he can act superior and laugh at the casual players who don't play league for a job and just wanna relax with their favorite game after their 9 to 5 without having a toxic fucklord play ADC janna top with smite.

I think it’s important to note that the Nasus he played against was a 600 LP challenger while Zwag is a 300LP GM player. Zwag did the most dmg in the game as he should so although there were some things that could’ve been done better I think Zwag overall played fairly well considering he hasn’t played Xerath in high elo in awhile. Eboy did a good job breaking down zwags game! Zwags gotten a ton better through his climb so I would be interested to see Zwag play another high elo matchup as Xerath now that he’s played more games in high elo
FR some people literally thought this was a silver gold game. Half the team is straight up challenger, while zwag was grandmaster. This Nasus is a one/two trick. He could easily pop a 9/0 game mid or top. Just stop trash talking, youre just like him otherwise.

I started to dislike Zwag when I found out that all his content was just shitting on low elo players with smurf accounts, and acting as if he is some sort of god.
I used to be a Zwag fan person, not to say I don't like him I just found a lot of other people who are more chill. I get Zwags been playing for awhile and LOL can be...rage inducing even when not playing ranked. I still watch his vids but not as often as there are many good creators out there.
I use to be a Zwag fan back in the day until I spent time talking with him, playing with him and finding out that he's a disgusting human being. I won't say the things cause a lot I'm not allowed to say for reasons but he's the type you don't want near your sister if that's enough. Also I was tired of carrying him every single game I played with him. I was gold during this time so it's not like I'm stating I was high elo but he was legit worse than most gold/bronze players when i would play with him.

Thanks for being honest to point out all his mistakes and why he can't be considered as good! His vid comments are like a cult praising his gameplay, which is so so terrible and subpar that I got frustrated watching for 1 minute tbh. I do think Nasus is a hard match up for Xerath. He took first strike because he fully believed that he could not get him low, which opting for money instead of poke which would be useless is better. In fact, the Nasus didn't even go to the HP where Doran's Shield is most effective. Furthermore, because of his intentions of scaling, he'd have likely taken gathering storm. Even if it is possible for a Xerath to poke a Nasus out of lane, Zwag hasn't played in high-elo, sadly, so his knowledge about the current match ups are different, same with his technique in certain aspects. I, and many others, can see quite a difference between Zwag a year ago and current day Zwag playing Xerath, as he seems rusty nowadays. I'd say where Zwag strives is his positioning, as he positions almost perfectly every fight. Not sitting back and being overly passive so you miss plays, and not being overly aggresive late game, and he adjusts this through out the game. In my eyes, I believe that Zwag doesn't have as good fundamentals as you, but his positioning is a lot better.
Also, he didn't boots because he forgot that he went first strike as he usually goes comet. If he remembered this, he'd almost definitely gotten a crystal (not a dark seal because he is confident that he won't be able to kill Nasus). And I don't see any reason why the Nasus players you face can't build an MR item first. After all, Nasus gets most of his damage from stacks, and ability haste has diminishing results. The trade off of being unkillable in lane for slightly less haste will make up for the lack of haste, because he can't force you to back.

He's been number 1 and and destroys eboy in 1v1's. He's out of practice for Xerath in this season though because he's been doing Teemo and then jungle Champs on top of his regular fun builds content. Give him a week with just Xerath. He's not regularly accused of scripting for no reason.

Eboy better xerath player hands down. Zwags fallen off the xerath otp wagon and it clearly shows he's rusty. Maybe in zwags xerath prime he might of been better but we cant really say since one plays xerath everyday where as the other plays teemo everyday

Maybe they don't want to watch Zwagmo, as they think it is purely jungle or content which they don't like. Additionally, they'd be searching for the channel, meaning that it'll be annoying even if they do actually find it, but don't know that this is the actual Zwag channel now. And while most people may find out, when speaking with numbers of millions, 1/100 could be 10,000 people who can't find him, regardless of the fact that it is probably over that much. Honestly. After this game and statements of zwag. I dont like this guy and he isnt good at all. Cant imagine hes Master+. He played vs Nasus like a platin. After is saw this gameplay, it wont be hard for me to get master.
I agree and disagree. I think Zwag from a year ago or so is better than EboyXerath, but right now he is rusty. Also, I do think Zwag has a higher level of mastery over Xerath which he can remember by playing quite a few games in high elo with him.

Eboy better xerath player hands down. Zwags fallen off the xerath otp wagon and it clearly shows he's rusty. Maybe in zwags xerath prime he might of been better but we cant really say since one plays xerath everyday where as the other plays teemo everyday

People know him as Zwag, and they know his main channel as Zwag Xerath. What if they type Zwag Xerath and they only see Xerath videos from Zwag under a different channels name. Maybe they don't want to watch Zwagmo, as they think it is purely jungle or content which they don't like.
Additionally, they'd be searching for the channel, meaning that it'll be annoying even if they do actually find it, but don't know that this is the actual Zwag channel now.
And while most people may find out, when speaking with numbers of millions, 1/100 could be 10,000 people who can't find him, regardless of the fact that it is probably over that much.
Overall, Zwag Xerath is accurate, as he is still our Xerath main at heart.

Also, you can feel whatever you want but he isn't a xerath main anymore. Hes the one who got me into league and xerath but he rarely plays him and when he does, he complains. I think Zwag from a year ago or so is better than EboyXerath, but right now he is rusty. Also, I do think Zwag has a higher level of mastery over Xerath which he can remember by playing quite a few games in high elo with him.
