Tell your sweet girl, it will get better. She is so beautiful I’m sure there is some jealousy there. But it will get better ❤ she has all of your followers sending her love and support to get through this time ❤
Praying 🙏 for your daughter and family! Tell her she will meet new friends and they will share and create new memories . My Granddaughter just went off to college this year at Houston HBCU college and she left Milwaukee Wisconsin to move to Houston, it was an adjustment for her, but she’s doing well. Met a lot of friends and she’s doing good. If God brings you to it, he’ll bring you all through it. ❤
Hey ❤sweetie a grandma 👵🏽 in Chicago watching you on this cold 🥶 Friday evening here! 🥰 Awww l hope baby girl 👧🏽 gets used too her new environment and school 🏫 there !! Love and hug sent your way too!! ❤❤❤💯😘👍🏽🥰👀🏫🛍️
I ❤ the windows. I sympathize with your daughter. I moved from Boston to New Jersey, then back to Boston and then back Jersey. Different schools each time. I was a quiet kid. For me, once I had a neighborhood friend, then I was good. I pray her lovely lights shine, and she only attracted friendly and knid kids
Congratulations on your move, I wish you & your family nothing but the best in your endeavors. I think that your daughter will be fine. She will make new friends soon.
So glad to get back on your videos Jillian! Ive been super busy and MIA so I'm catching up but your home is so beautiful, as well as your family. I was feeling a little down because I recently found out my young nephews are moving to Texas which is really far away from where I am in Alabama, but in a weird way knowing you're out there and doing a big move to TX at the exact same time is comforting to me. Baby girl is going to be ok. The city just has to adjust to y'all's light. Much love gorgeous.
Aww I feel so bad for your daughter yeah new school no friends we moved a few times.I hope she finds a friend soon The reality of all you have ina bigger home Wow it will come together soon enough🤞you get the table😊
I move from Cali to Texas in 2018 people treated me rudely my coworker told me don't Californian my Texas I still work with these people but I had to check them and they now respect me.
Wanted to come back to also add, we moved here when our kids were between 5-17 so all of our kids adjusted in their own way. My oldest had a little more difficult times because he was in high school and my two youngest had an easier time adjusting and they all now love it
Darling as my mother said people stare when they are dumbfounded and they cannot or do not have the social graces to just speak to the person they are curious about
Hi Jillian & welcome to Texas! About TX v/s Cali: TX has a huge rural population & I feel that Cali has more urban folks. The TX country group move to our cities just as so many Cali people do. You happened upon some person who was trying to figure you out. She probably never saw someone with so much style & upscale flare. And she may have $ $ but never been exposed to clothing like you are used to. Now don't be frightened, there are plenty of folks who share your style & sophistication. And if must also say that we probably have more overt racism than California. Please give your new state a chance, loads of your fellow expats live here & there are urban cities in addition to Houston: Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio & my hometown Austin(also the state Capitol). Settle in and see how it goes! ❤ Dolly Camacho-Watson.
My sister lives right outside Dallas. Yes, she said people stare and are very rude in other ways. Give it some time, your daughter will get used to it.
Have you tried royal canin digestive cat food or appleplaw chicken kibble for your kitty's? Your daughter is so sweet and im sure she'll adjust shortly.
I have lived in Texas since 2003. People here love to stare. I hate it so much it happens to me too. After awhile some will approach me and tell me they like my earrings or handbag. You don't blend in. You're pretty and very fashionable, you stand out. I grew up as an Army brat. We moved every 2-3 years. You're daughter hopefully will eventually adjust.
She's looking at you because you're a beautiful young lady and she's trying to figure out how you do it but she doesn't know some of it is God given 🤩😍
It’s always hard when you move to a new place. Because it’s unfamiliar territory and she has to start all over by making friends. She’s just so used to what she had. But she’ll be OK and I probably would have had the movers put all my stuff in one room and actually took my stuff upstairs myself, but if y’all paid for then, yeah by all means.
When the Jews were being led through the dessert into the promised land, they were complaining about only having manna to eat and even wanted to go back to Egypt into slavery! Hang in there my sista!! You got this and you did the best thing for your family and yourself!! Be blessed ❤
The lady in the restaurant probably took you in, noticed you were dope and couldn’t stop staring. I people-watch too but I limit it to a few seconds. Anything beyond a few seconds is rude and weird and if she thought she knew you from somewhere she should have just said so 💅 Edit: Also just try saying “Hello” when something like that happens again. In the South a lot of people want recognition, even in the. form of a simple greeting. It’s absurd but true.
The Woodlands area is one of Houston’s upper echelon areas and if she was a yt woman, I’m sure she was judging. You’ll receive a different response in the Montrose, Midtown, Rice University, and The Heights areas based off your style. I hope this helps, I’m a Houston native.
Greetings, Jillian, God's blessings and much happiness to you and your family. You are an Amazing child of God, that's is who you belong to. Stares are an opportunity for ministry. Judge not others as Christ does not judge you. People are different in all walks of life and in Texas or California and anywhere else on this planet be prepared for stares, you're Beautiful !!!, Women and men are going to stare. When I rise in the morning, I pray and ask God to lead me in this day and give me wisdom so that I can glorify God in everything I do. It helps with my anxiety and my thoughts. This is just the beginning, continue to put God first and you will never go wrong. God, your husband and you, family the most important thing in the world, Trust God, I Love you, God's Blessings🥰!!!! Happy Holidays

Hey Jillian 👋🏽 It's always hard being the new kid in school. Hopefully, she'll be able to make new friends very soon. 🙏🏽💙
Love the house 🥰🥰🥰
OMG MY NIECE SAID PEOPLE IN TEXAS ARE WEIRD TOO!
As a New Yorker who moved to TX back in 2011 for some reason staring is a thing some folks do down here so I get it
My sister lives right outside Dallas. Yes, she said people stare and are very rude in other ways.
Give it some time, your daughter will get used to it.
Oh the Woodlands 😬sorry you had to experience that .
Have you tried royal canin digestive cat food or appleplaw chicken kibble for your kitty's?
Your daughter is so sweet and im sure she'll adjust shortly.
They’re eating a freeze dried raw diet right now. We’ll see if I need to make some changes soon.
Hey Jillian, you might want to check out the Houston Rag House.
Ooh! I’ll add that to my list! 💕

I also lived in Houston from 2013-2018. People are definitely weird. Im from the East Coast and I definitely noticed alot of weird behavior.
Southern culture is different from East/West coast cultures but that doesn’t make us weird
You’re not weird. You seem really sweet. 💕 Moving anywhere new is an adjustment.
She was probably wondering how good you look how young knowing you’re not From Texas

Ahhhh! She was ✋🏻& giving me judgy eyes 👀 lol 😂 It was funny though because she just looked so curious and disgusted at the same time. Haha
