This is an excellent video, you got right to the point and kept my interest. You simplified for me an important concept that is explained in arcane terms in the reference manual. Thank you!
great video! very well explained. and not speeding through it. i was wondering can you also do this with a lead vocal take for example.. a pop song? and if so.. monophonic would be best?
Hello, your tutorials are just awesome and Thanks for that : ) By the way am using ProTools 12.5HD with Focusrite solo Interface(1st gen),since I don't have monitors,am using DT990 Headphones...Is it possible to do 5.1mix using a pair of Headphones??? If so could pls explain the I/O setup and Routing process in your future tutorials??? So that it ll be of great help!!! Thanks again 😊
Excellent vid. My question is, why reduce the swing/human element in this? What is the 'advantage' or reasoning? I get that you wouldn't want to do it particularly to this type (reggae) track... but anyway
How can we do if we need to quantise(or scretch in time) a single clip in a song ? For example a snare out of time in a track where the stems are not separated? Thanks.
Hey! Great video. I noticed you didn't change the track to Tick-based timing. Does that mean you don't have to change it to ticks? I've seen quantize videos where they do it as the very first step. So my question is: What is the difference if any?

It helped me a lot. Tks!
@MusicTechHelpGuy man your intro song is insanely good. If this is a full song, I would TOTALLY buy it. Let me know. :)
Great explanation thanks

excellent
I did this on a bass guitar track and it doesn't "find" all the transients. Any reason why or how to fix?
It sound like one more night maroon 5 . Thanks a ton for a tutorial
Actually check out “Your House” by Steel Pulse
thanks, it's Great
Hello ! Would it be possible or not to have the audio regions you use in this (or other) videos ? (just asking :) )
When I render the elastic audio it didnt do it with precisión there are still some notes that are not like my edition
Thnx !
What's wrong, please, when I see "warp", and "analysis" being greyed out? Thankx
Thx

I found that, when you quantized audio, the quality dropped. It does not sound smooth or natural. How do I fix that? Any suggestion?
Same thing happens to me!
It feels like Joe Rogans teaching me audio engineering tips
Is that intro music a full song? It sounds insane.
I was wondering about that too... REALLY liked it!
It does sound a lot like "Your House" by Steel Pulse, check it out, I really thought of it when I heard this
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 😃 !!!
i am not getting into elastic mode at all
Didn't understand the difference between "analysis" and "warp". Can you clear that please? Thanks! :)
Analysis mode shows the detection of the transients and warp mode allows you to change if/when they're quantized
