The riser base doesn't affect the cutting / engraving size, it only increases the depth of the product you can add. It also allows for a conveyor belt attachment so you can run longer items through it, but wouldn't change the 'width' of the item.
Hi it’s been a struggle for me to find the right power and speed to engrave clear acrylic with S1 20 Watts. I would really appreciate if you wouldn’t mind sharing the settings please and thank you.
Diode lasers do not do well with clear or many transparent acrylics. My understanding is that it’s related to the wavelengths of light that make up the laser. I’ve never had success with clear acrylic and my S1 personally, but it handles colored acrylic very well but there are still challenges.
I just got the Xtool S1 40 W bundle thing.. It just now really gets to me how much testing and trying throwing out stuff :P haha - if its to slow it will burn.. if its to strong but to fast it will not cut :P damn... Its not just set and forget :D but it sure looks easy on video :D
Yeah for sure you gotta get it dialed in, at the beginning I showed a condensed trial and error, gotta keep these videos under 15 mins! But yeah, there’s a lot more work than most people assume with lasers that’s for sure, but it is so fun!!
@@TheToughGuysTV hehe Yeah I could imagine. Could you maybe be of help with a good setting for the 40W S tool cutting 6,5mm plywood? is it better to do it in two pass half strengt? or max power faster ? I find that there is a lot of charing.
@baekmedier is trying doing multiple passes on lower power, keep the speed quick but not super fast. Do some tests on a smaller piece cutting out a simple shape like a circle or square and see how it performs instead of trying to cut the main project first.
hello Tough Guys TV how are you? I can't put the Window Air Conditioner on the window of my house because I have a very large window so I wanted to put a table and put it on it in this way can I solve this problem? A thousand thanks
The rear side of a window AC must sit outside, you can’t just have it inside as it is venting then also inside. It must go through a window and vent to the exterior. They do make alternative type AC units that only have the vent duct go out the window, and the AC unit sits on the floor in the room. Look online for this type as an alternative. Good luck
@@TheToughGuysTV I can put this model on the window and using a plastic pump, putting it on the gutter, thus doing I don't have to use the plastic tanks and also the same thing on my balcony with a plastic pump attached to the air conditioner and then letting the water drain onto the gutter. Do you think home is a good solution? then as for the window, can I put a very large piece of metal so as to have half the window and half the air conditioner? it's the only solution if I don't want to use plastic tanks, thank you very much and kind regards Carlo rightly on the balcony with a table in addition to the plastic pump rightly

Hi there! Do you happen to have a link to those prism stands?
I need to know if with the risers added to the S1, if you can accommodate standard 12 x 24 sheets in the S1 which has been a standard size.

What brand was your sander?
We used the 3x4” Surfprep sander on this one! Surfprep makes some really great sanders! surfprepsanding.com/
