The tiebreaker between the Mets and Braves has not been decided yet. The Mets still have three games left with the Braves starting on 09/24/24 and they have a 5-5 record against each other.

The good news for the Orioles is that Tarik Skubal started Thursday's game, so they'll dodge him in Detroit this weekend, and if things play out, the schedule favors them when they host the Tigers later in the month, because they won't be facing him him there either.

Bottom line is the Mets Braves series will decide the final WC. Mets hold a 1 game lead, but the season series with the Braves is locked at 5-5. The team with the series win will take the tiebreaker, just like 2 years ago.
The Mets will lose the series against Milwaukee and Philly may take some games from them. The Bravos have been very inconsistent this year but the odds are in their favor….you would think😅. We lost a series to the White Sox and lost many series in pathetic fashion this year…

love your videos - looking at straight winning % has some flaw at this time of the year, most teams are better at home so where the key series are can make a difference and like the Dbacks have 7 against brewers (hurts the SOS %) but what are brewers playing for - they have division locked and about a lock on 3rd seed, if dodgers or phillies goes 50% rest of the season they need to go 12/4 or 13/3(not sure tie breakers) to move up.
The mariners are a poverty franchise with zero rings.

The Mets only have the toughest schedule on paper. The Phillies actually have the toughest schedule followed by the Braves and Brewers because they're facing a rejuvenated Mets team.
As a Braves guy, I have no clue what a “Rejuvenated Mets team” is. We’ve been through this thing for decades but every year is new. Brewers and especially the Braves don’t fear the Mets.
MIL will not start any of their top 3 pitchers in the Mets series, as they will have their WC series starters aligned, so the .557 is practically a little high.

I will disagree with you sediments that the dodgers will have the number 1 seed. I have the dodgers going 10-6 and the Phillies going 9-7 and the Phillies based on tiebreaker owning the number 1 seed. I see with the dodgers injuries them splitting with Atlanta and taking 2 of 3 from the rest. Of course it can change but it’s what I see happening. I have the Phillies taking 2 of 3 over the Mets this weekend and Milwaukee taking 2 of 3 from the Phillies but with the Phillies winning 1 more game the Phillies own the tiebreaker over Milwaukee as well. Then we split the 4 games in NY and take 2 of 3 vs cubs and nats
now we need to sweep the rockies twice sweep the marlins we should be able to do that and atlease win one against the padres will be extremely happy if we win 2 but highly doubt it would rather take the second seed than first cause i would rather face the brewers vs mets or braves cause padres and dbacks are a annoying fly can't make it go away not sayingwe can't beat them but it would be more difficult shoot maybe padres and dbacks start choking
As far as the NL playoff race the padres have the thoughest schedule and Arz the easiest. Braves and Mets both same level of hardness but the Mets have a lead and tie breakers so that a big advantage . But we’ll see! LFGM!!

@@airtioteclint If they get the first seed, the NLDS would be (as of now) against the winner of SD vs DBacks. If they get the 2nd seed, the NLDS would be against the winner of Brewers vs Mets. The Dodgers tend to struggle more against SD and AZ pitching staff

Bit worried bout the Orioles, but those games are winnable, and key players are coming back in Webb/Columbe/Westburg/Rodriguez. These are winnable games if our batters could just hit better. Kreamer and Suarez have been pitching gems. My main concern is the potential of facing Skubal twice, the Twins ace who eludes me(though by this point shit could be settled), and Gil/Cortes both in the yanks series. Granted the O's have roughed up Cortes before. They have the ability to do this, and win the east, but shit aint gonna be easy. Shout out to Tony Taters on mashing HR 41, setting records as a switch hitter.
I’m hopeful for Seattle, but just don’t feel positive enough for it to happen.
Hopefully the dodgers will win the World Series in a full season for the first time since 1988.
