very helpful I have the same year and I was trying find information on how to replace the turn signal/ wiper/ cruise control lever would I have to pull the steering wheel in order to gain access and if so may I know what size bolts did you use on that puller tool?
@Sir Francis Bacon: I don’t remember which ones I used exactly. I think I carefully tested a few of them in the set to see which fit the smoothest and didn’t cross-thread. That’s the set of bolts I marked with the blue tape for future use.
Can the instrument panel be removed without removing the steering wheel? Or does it definitely interfere with the IP removal? I have a tilt steering column, and I noticed your doesn't, so I wonder if maybe makes a difference.
@Richard Lytle: I believe the instrument panel can be removed without removing the steering wheel. But for me it was a huge pain working around the instrument panel with the steering wheel in the way. It might be easier for you with a tilt steering column to work around it but not sure.
@k strachon: Did you mean the steering wheel removal tool itself? I don’t remember specifically, but I think it was either Advance Auto or on Amazon. Most important thing is to match that thread size.
Great Video! It helped me a lot to lubricate the speedometer cable

The instrument panel can be removed without removing the steering wheel if you can tilt it. I just did that the other day!
Do you still have the green steering wheel? I need it. Tap in
@Peso Franklin: not sure what you mean? I still have the car and the steering wheel is brown not green. ???
Where did you get the pulley

Snap Ring Tool not Reverse pliers! Also no the car is strictly metric not a mixture🤦🏻♂️
