We live in Riverview but right next to progress village. We enjoy this area a lot because we can get Downtown in 20 Mins, go to Brandon for a lot of things and have more food and shopping options. As a military family it has saved my husband having to deal with horrible traffic and have options coming home after work.
Riverview here. Traffic is getting worse due to the bottle neck of bridges that cross the Alafia. There are only 4 roads total that connect the north to south shores of the river and cause most of the backup.
301 gets real busy from late afternoon to rush hour. Construction all over. New Advent Health Medical center is going up. Also, some cow pastures are now gone on Riverview Drive and being replaced with new homes. The area is booming. Actually, a real quick drive to Channelside, Ybor, and South Tampa from where I live. Just hate the suburbs.
I’m quite interested in the Bloomingdale, Valrico area. Traffic is a huge concern. Do you find these areas to be more established or still booming like Wesley Chapel. How would you compare this area to Wesley Chapel?
It’s more established for sure. Most of the homes have been here for a while and the vibe is just different. It feels established. Wesley chapel still feels new and I established even though there’s a ton of new things built. I moved to Wesley chapel in 2008. I’ve been in bloomingdale for a few. So I’ve experienced both.
@dotcom721 thanks for your reply! We’re looking to move to Riverview in the next couple months. Hate that the beach is 45 min, but def better than 2 hours! We’re less than 10 from beach now in NSB
Love this channel! Relied on it before I moved to Hyde Park area of Tampa. Curious about exploring Riverview for upcoming activity.

We’re also a military fam interested in this area. Do you have any experience with schools? We’ll have a middle schooler and elementary next year

Hi ! Thanks for the video! What things to do are in Riverview, malls, attractions, etc?
Great question. Really just normal suburb stuff. That would be another video I could make though to highlight a few unique things

I’m sorry if I missed it, but did you say how long it would take to get to St Pete Beach or Anna Maria?

Sorry, but Clearwater is the best beach. 😂
