Maddie Baillio will always be my favorite Tracy Turnblad. Her voice is cute and bright, and her acting perfectly encapsulates everything Tracy stands for. (Not to mention she's absolutely beautiful!)
I love how they have the "divine pet food" next to a pink flamingo. It's a good nod to the fact that John Waters, who also made a movie called "pink flamingos" created Hairspray. Edna, Tracy's mom, was played by a drag queen named "Divine" in the original movie from 1988 and they were often casted in Waters movies. They were also in "pink flamingos".

And there are other references too. Also, as a Baltimore native, I can't say I ever seen a mountain in the city. I loved Hairspray Live, my only complaint is the lighting in some scenes is really bad. And no wetting the street did not help make it look lighter lol
