naisu dropped the link for the text guide on the shulk video - it's also here in enel's descriptions. go check it out if you have the time and give some feedback if you're able, i would hugely appreciate it! thanks agree with everything in the intro - everyone be sleeping on reyn for 10 years, he's super super good. makes healing unnecessary with debuffs and tanking in the midgame and still deals a ton of damage, and then just straight up erases the existence of any enemy in the endgame with massive burst. it doesn't come up very often but hammer beat does have an aoe radius - a small circle around the target enemy. it's typically not going to hit more than one enemy unless they're bunched up really close, but it does pop up occasionally. mad taunt and aggro in general has some interesting math around it - here's a thinned down version of it. let's say each point of damage you deal gives you a point of aggro. one point of healing then gives you 2.5 points of aggro. one point of damage that's been dealt to you by the enemy takes off 4 points of aggro. there's an additional thing on top of that though called volatile aggro. put simply youget extra volatile aggro from arts that dissipates at a rate of 120 points per second and is calculated from, approximately speaking, that art's volatile aggro parameter times (character level + 14). mad taunt has a unique brand of aggro all by itself. it generates aggro equal to reyn's level times 120 + 1880 and dissipates at a rate of 1/30 of its original amount per second until it's completely gone. engage makes mad taunt generate 25% more aggro and berserker gives it an aoe radius (along with his auto attacks). but basically all this is completely irrelevant, all that's important is it usually grabs the enemy's attention so feel free to use it frequently, you get it back very quickly anyway. bone upper might not have amazing damage compared to his other arts, but it's cooldown is ridiculously short, so much so that you're probably going to be using it as much as you auto attack, so its damage adds up pretty quickly despite having a low arts multiplier. the agility down it gives with dive sobat is also, like you mentioned, great, especially against higher leveled enemies. rage isn't great normally and berserker is almost always gonna be the better choice - with one situational exception. you can cheese despotic arsene by stacking as much phys def on reyn as possible (as close to 1800 as you can manage) via equips, gems, and skills, use rage and guard, and then sit for about 15 minutes refreshing guard as arsene does 1 damage to him per attack and takes spike damage in return. it also has some uses in super underleveled fights but that's not really worth going into much since it'll never actually matter in a normal playthrough. bottom line is - berserker is usually just better, but it does have that one use. berserker and other auras that give you debuffs in return for buffs have their downsides negated with a debuff resist gem, which is another reason on top of many to run them. with it, it's basically a free massive strength boost that lasts the entire battle. neg·li·gi·ble /ˈneɡləjəb(ə)l/ neh-gluh-juh-bul if you're running an attack heal build with critical drain and arts heal, then enthusiasm is probably your best bet - you can get up to 59% crit rate, 89% effective with max tension which will proc crit drain basically all the time, giving you about 300 health per hit with recovery up plus the healing from arts heal. haste isn't as important on reyn as it is for the other 3 physical attackers since you're going to have pretty little downtime for auto attacks because you're arts spamming so often. the same thing is true for double attack. that said they aren't totally useless and are totally viable gems if you have a free slot on your armor for the glory gauntlets. that solo topple lock just looks super boring to actually do lmfao berserker doesn't actually give an aoe strength down like peerless does. at least, that's how it works in og, i'm pretty sure they didn't change it for de but i might be incorrect? >says he one shots gonzales >he's still alive afterwards lame the superbosses in the challenges were huuuugely nerfed. they have like barely more than 10% of their max hp and do significantly less damage. kinda lame tbh but what can you do i guess anyway thanks so much enel! these videos are great as always and i'm excited to see the rest of the characters. -nyar

One thing about Last Stand - it's great to put on AI Reyn, not because he uses it intelligently or anything, but because you can *make* him use it and save his life basically for free. Yeah, I don't usually bother warning party members of visions, but Reyn is a major exception. The aura is basically a cure-all for whatever the deadly attack would do since he momentarily drops and thus has status effects cleared, AND you get your talent gauge back! The annoying part is when Sharla ruins my plans by healing/shielding him immediately afterwards, enough to survive the attack and make the aura not trigger. Damn it, Sharla!

Originally I wasn't going to click on the vid since I felt the homie Reyn was kinda underwhelming in the end game of the original wii version, but god damn, I'm glad I did...
In the original Wii version he was outclassed by Dunban late game especially for the superbosses when you needed as much agility as you could get but the new level 12 art books seem to make him significantly better. I wonder if the Level 12 artbooks + Drive Boost have also made Sharla better but somehow I'm not confident.
Serious Striker the only difference with sharla is that you can spam thunder valley and headshot and make her a constant dps machine. You just have to put on riki’s reduce cooldown skill. You activate drive boost and use thunder bullet then headshot and switch between the two. If you have heat sink gems you can spam for a while. This makes me think she outclasses Riki now.
@@SeriousStriker he was almost as good in the Wii version, his agility was only a little lower than Shulk and the weapon bug hurt him. He could still do some pretty stupid damage though.
i desperately need a full xenoblade crossover game. i don’t care if it’s a warriors game or a racing game or whatever but i just need to know what reyn would think when he sees tatsu and tora. “oh great now there’s 3 of ‘em furballs”
I would like to mention that Reyn is far and away the most useful Party Member during an underleveled run, where it's not as simple as "whack 'em 'til he dies". Lategame when Agility Up and Night Vision Gems are aplenty you can certainly do this, but early- to mid-game he still proves useful with his Aggro gaining from Mad Taunt, Hammer Beat, and Aura Burst (the latter's Strength Down proving about as equally useful). And since you're more at risk of death while underleveled, Last Stand is a great way of saving yourself, as is Guard Shift when timed correctly. Rage shows situational use, particularly during a couple of fights in Eryth Sea where in one the enemies are too strong and too plentiful to safely take out the normal way and the second where Shulk proves to be useless against one of the enemies (Dunban will prove useless against the other, and Melia's just too frail to survive more than two hits against either)--these two fights it's best to stack Spike and Ether Up alongside Rage and just let the enemies Spike themselves to death (far and away my two least favorite fights in the game but sadly no better ways of going about them). Lastly, though it almost goes without saying, being able to take hits is just so valuable when you're struggling to get ahold of actually good Gems in the first half (Agility Up and Night Vision Gems will be too low-leveled to provide any decent effect unless you stack multiple of them at once, which more often than not you are doing and STILL needing a little help). So TL;DR, Reyn's DPS isn't his only selling point. His more tank-oriented Arts prove just as useful when you're running through underleveled.
even if you're not taking just his endgame into account, he's still one of the better for main game since like how you mentioned he can just berserker -> magnum charge -> sword drive most regular enemies in like a single hit.
Thank you for opening my eyes, I played him once, didnt know how to play him, died, and switched to others for the rest of my playthrough. Cant wait for your other guides!
One thing he forgot to mention: you can negate the strength down and defense down from rage and berserker respectively by using a 100% debut resist gem. Makes rage an actually usable art
Something I just noticed that's kinda funny is that between Xenoblades 1 and 2, the party member introduced as the face tank (Reyn and Tora) ends up being the best party member in the game. *As an attacker.* Edit: Off topic, but in contrast, the party member introduced as the healer also ends up being the worst party member. Go figure. Though comparing with their respective parties, Nia being the worst isn't as bad as Sharla being the worst.
you guys make it sound like nia and sharla are unusable. like its the smash bros. melee pichu/kirby of the game. meanwhile in xc2, nia’s been in my team throughout the entire game while i’m on morag. and in xc1, i’m currently playing as sharla. i think they’re both fine, especially on a casual level like myself. maybe i just like having healers around idk.
@@VixxterityVT We're not saying they're unusable, they're just inferior to the other party members due to the nature of the game. If you like playing with healers, don't let anyone stop you. That's the great thing with Xenoblade: you can play however you want and still succeed.
@@VixxterityVT , Sorry, but casual mode cannot be considered in any comparison. In this mode, you don't need someone to heal, that is, using Sharla doesn't even make sense. If you play minimally accordingly, Shulk can kill most normal monsters with an attack from behind. Whether you like her is another story.
Didn't except another upload so soon! This is perfect! I struggle to decide what is the best arts to use on everyone because there is so many. Its very overwhelming for me. Really appreciate another great video. Insightful and entertaining! Thanks so much 👏🏻💖
Yo Enel you seem like you like XCDE, then I suggest you decide to play xc2 I personally think you'll connect with Haze and you'll maybe like the combat and story
Thanks so much for these! I think the hardest part for some people is figuring out how to properly build a character, and these certainly give a perspective for them. Keep it up!
Reyn is one of the characters that spikes (not the effect, I mean the chart spike) with gems and art levels, he is generally ok for most of the games, but to make him amazing as this one needs lv VI gems and max his arts, as you mentioned it, his arts have a long cooldown otherwise and his gem set up isnt as obvious as the others until that can come true, since you want Dunban and Shulk hogging the best Agility Up gems up to that point and he has great damage even early its not as obvious that he needs strength to keep up the damage as the others, and its allways at the mid game where one changes Reyn from tank to dps another thing I would like is Talent art moddifiers, like giving some the ability change their Talent Art, or ins some cases *cough* Sharla *cough* have it evolve with a side quest, in Reyn I would love if he could have 2 Talent Arts, Mad Taunt and Magnum Charge, yes that would make Magnum Charge more redily aviable but let be honest, once you get Magnum Charge you dont want Mad Taunt, and you can change it so that Magnum Charge as a Talent Art is one of the slowest Talent Arts to be filled, Ill talk about the idea I have for Sharla on Sharlas video
Wonderful guide. I was really surprised to see this one out already since Shulk's was yesterday. Guess that means i won't have to wait as long as I thought for the Dun-Dun one! Thanks for the amazing video.
What I love about XC1 over XC2 is that each character can do a lot simply on their own due to the many driver arts available at once, and Reyn is one of the best examples of that. He can topple and daze on his own, give himself great attack buffs, inflict paralysis/reduce enemy agility, hit multiple enemies at once, and more. This variety and character independence also carries over to the likes of Shulk, Melia, and Dunban, making them all really fun characters to play. However, until the late game where you can get some OP gems, I never feel like my teammates are useless either. Meanwhile in XC2, due to the blade switching cool downs and limited number of arts per character, I feel like I'm at the mercy of the AI very often to do cool setups. Don't get me wrong, I love XC2 to death, but XC1 really hits different for me with its simple yet deep combat system.
Well put together video dude! Sadly i am still only at chapter 14 (not even sure how much is left, don't want to ether:P) just stopped to catch up on some side quests. So these guides are far out there in terms of progression gameplay still, i gotten some very important info on just about every character. You have my sub man - keep up the good werk!
I had no idea the "come to me" command actually makes the other two members stop engaging the enemy completely. I always assumed they would start attacking again after a few seconds because that's what I always do when I use that command for positioning because I always engage not long after using that command. Good to know it can be used to interrupt the AI party members and make them stop indefinitely
Fun fact: The song that plays at the end of future connected when you are fighting the final boss is called 'The Conduit's Demise'. Perhaps the fog beasts are from the conduit but that doesn't really make too much sense since the conduit should be destroyed or at least powerless by this point. Anyways I thought it was interesting and just wanted to share this with people.
Your videos are great, and they remind me about tf2, specifically MvM mode. That game mode and Xenoblade share the fact that you have these huge monsters (in tf2 case, robots), and the focus is not to stay alive for the entirety of the fight, but to do as much damage as possible and to not get hit
Discussing Reyn throughout the game (not just Endgame): __ +Focus on leveling up Bone Upper first, since it's cool down is super short and it's animation is super fast, which means the damage increase with each level heavily increases Reyn's overall damage output. It's DPS (damage when factoring in cooldown and animation speed) quickly becomes way higher than Sword Drive. This art also recharges your Talent Art gauge extremely fast, meaning you never need to auto attack. +Dive Sobat is amazing against all enemies and essential against higher level enemies if you manage to hit it. You may want to equip some agility gems (if you haven't already) to make sure you do. Berserker is Reyn's best Aura, which greatly increases his damage so he can more easily hold aggro. +Wild Down is pretty great. It's nice to level it up a bit more once the 4th party member joins you, since he can inflict Break and Topple too. It's cooldown is pretty low for a topple art. +Shield Bash's cooldown becomes insanely short if you level it up, so I definitely recommend leveling it up as soon as you get it. Because of it's low cooldown, it's even worth having against enemies that are immune to Topple. +Lariat is a strong art that hits multiple enemies and fills the Talent Gauge with each enemy hit. I prefer it over War Swing, since the cooldown is lower and the damage is higher. +Sword Drive is a great art, but there's little reason to level it up in the first half of the game, since the damage increase is minor and the cooldown remains so high that you probably almost never use it twice per fight anyway. The damage increase becomes more relevant once you get Magnum Charge at a decent level. +Magnum Charge is great late game after you've leveled it up. It's not worth equiping until you've reached about x2.7 though, since having another (slightly stronger) sword drive in terms of damage is only useful against a very small range of enemies. This is because Sword Drive is mostly useful for one shotting weak enemies and using it in chain attacks. Magnum Charge usually won't help with either. ___ Other notable arts: -Hammer Beat really helps Reyn to draw aggro in the early and midgame. I recommend replacing it with Magnum Charge at some point though, since you don't need it in Late Game, because Reyn's damage output is high enough by then to keep the aggro on him. -Guard Shift is an art I recommend unequipping, unless you play as Reyn, since it will lower Reyn's damage output, which makes it harder for him to hold aggro. -Aura Burst is fine art that increases Reyn's survivability. It's great in the early and mid game, when that can be a problem. I recommend replacing it once you get better arts though. -War Swing: It's nice when multiple enemies, since it damages all of them and builds the talent gauge instantly. Its damage is pretty low though and it's cooldown is extremely long, so I wouldn't recommend leveling it much. Replace it once you get better arts.
I want to say thank I'm at lvl 50 have the skill tree up but didnt know what skill link would fit best for ever character and this is going to help me out a lot
I'm about halfway through the video and I didn't see you mention that Berserker's Physical Defense Down is a debuff and can be resisted either through gems or skills.
You know, it’s probably worth censoring Seven’s icon in the instances it occurs just so that people can watch it early game. Of course, this guide is clearly designed for postgame, but at the very least it would probably help with views. And this guide is still way more useful than most of the other guides out there for earlygame...
Enel I was thinking you could just add in black boxes over Seven’s icons, which should be fairly easy, though if you’re saying that it’s probably harder than I thought.
And for the other people, most casual smash bros players don’t pay enough attention to the game and Xenoblade content in order to get spoiled by it, since Definitive edition hopefully brings in some new players who never paid much attention to it before. And the game is so old that most casuals would have had relatively little exposure to it, so, I think you’d be surprised by the amount of people going into it unspoiled
I always liked using Rey. Actually in most playthroughs I played as either Reyn or Dunban to take the aggro, and boy was it fun! And that video showed that he is a literal tank. Defensive and destructive power in one if used right!
I absolutely loved this game and still love it till this day but I never got so deep into the combat. Thank you very much for all these explanations! :D
These guides have been really useful so far, keep up the good work! Now I'm just wondering how you'll title the guide for Seven without spoiling anything lol
spam DPS ether attacks, then observe as the enemy slowly kills themselves. he's basically a more supportive Melia... not as powerful nukes, but can heal and buff better.
Damn. All this time even playing on the Wii,I thought of Reyn as a brick wall to soak up damage. Not so much as a fucking turret said wall is attached to.
I was of the opinion that Reyn wasn't very fun to play as since he's just supposed to soak up damage and aggro. However you sir have convinced me that he is in fact a mad lad. Good video!
This confirms what I found out in the original game. I never understood why people kept telling me that Dunban was a better tank when naked than Reyn, when Reyn was always better to me, and Dunban was inefficient naked. People saying that didn't 100 % the game like I did, so I guess they never even got all the character skills and true power. Every character is very good, but Reyn is sth else, especially against swarms of enemies.
Great video man. It seems like you are doing these in the order you get the party members but could you do dunban next I'm kinda struggling with how I want to build him
Shield Bash is glitched L M A O that's hilarious, was not aware. And at least the fact that Daze doesn't work on Superbosses makes it easy to swap out, but Rain really has too many good arts. I just want to say, this is fantastic and exactly the kind of stuff I was hoping to see with DE. I don't think anyone would've called Reyn the greatest character in the original, but with stuff like Time Attack and the faster cooldowns at Rank XII, he has much more room to shine.
Xenoblade is one of my favorite RPGS, and maybe even top ten games of all time. But holy shit the Affinity Coin system is abhorrent I don't know what the fuck they were thinking making you play through the game 3+ times if you want to fill out your Skill Links with what you actually want
So, just to moron check myself here. On Reyn's skill links you opted to take battle stance (15% str for higher enemies)over showdown stance (30% all stats for higher enemies) any specific reason or is it because coins?
For reyn's skills links (for example amazing stars! with riki) does the cd reduction applied since it's orange skill. From what I understand, orange skills only apply when riki is in battle party
Out of curiosity, is there any time when utilising heavy armour is better? I definitely get that higher agility gives both evasion and accuracy, but is it possible for Reyn to be made super tanky with heavy armour (combined with Melia’s ether defence boosting skill)? Same thoughts apply to Seven.

2 furballs and some food.
10:42 love how you struggle to even say *her* name😂😂
He forgets her name because nobody uses her
It's almost like he's in pain saying it, or like someone broke into his house and put Sharla into his script.
*As an attacker.*
Edit: Off topic, but in contrast, the party member introduced as the healer also ends up being the worst party member.

I am also looking forward to hear about Naypon and that one weak character from Future Connected that nobody likes.
Luckily the guide for that smash bros guy is already out
My favorite Total Drama character
Didn't except another upload so soon! This is perfect! I struggle to decide what is the best arts to use on everyone because there is so many. Its very overwhelming for me. Really appreciate another great video. Insightful and entertaining! Thanks so much 👏🏻💖
Yo Enel you seem like you like XCDE, then I suggest you decide to play xc2 I personally think you'll connect with Haze and you'll maybe like the combat and story
Yeah it's on my list of things to play bet it'll be a great game!
Damn alright guess I gotta check it out
Maybe if he plays XC2 he can make videos about them.
I can’t tell if this is sarcastic or ironic or serious. I’m confused.
Zach Miller torna combat is amazing. I played only the expansion. I watch videos and xc2 looks boring slow and cinematic.
I am a simple man. I see a guide by enel, I click and like.
Thanks so much for these! I think the hardest part for some people is figuring out how to properly build a character, and these certainly give a perspective for them. Keep it up!
It's finally time! You know, _that_ time!
What time?
@@ReynTime477 time to tip the scales, obviously
Shulk time, obviously.
GiantButterKnife Riki says it’s hero time
First shulk then reyn. Homs fiora guide must be next :)
I hope so, can't decide what arts I want on her. Lacerate seems pretty good, but I could use another break art if Shulk doesn't have Turn Strike
sadly we can't keep her for long. She has to go home to do some cooking. She could come back on vacation but I don't think so.
@@noahcarruth7221 i expect she prepare some using her hot knifes in butter
@@mrbubbles6468 Yes there's also Nopon Fiora
@@coricos9849 I heard some screaming from the kitchen. Were the knives in the butter that hot?
Reyn is one of the characters that spikes (not the effect, I mean the chart spike) with gems and art levels, he is generally ok for most of the games, but to make him amazing as this one needs lv VI gems and max his arts, as you mentioned it, his arts have a long cooldown otherwise and his gem set up isnt as obvious as the others until that can come true, since you want Dunban and Shulk hogging the best Agility Up gems up to that point and he has great damage even early its not as obvious that he needs strength to keep up the damage as the others, and its allways at the mid game where one changes Reyn from tank to dps
another thing I would like is Talent art moddifiers, like giving some the ability change their Talent Art, or ins some cases *cough* Sharla *cough* have it evolve with a side quest, in Reyn I would love if he could have 2 Talent Arts, Mad Taunt and Magnum Charge, yes that would make Magnum Charge more redily aviable but let be honest, once you get Magnum Charge you dont want Mad Taunt, and you can change it so that Magnum Charge as a Talent Art is one of the slowest Talent Arts to be filled, Ill talk about the idea I have for Sharla on Sharlas video
Watching sword drive delete health bars will never stop being satisfying.
Wonderful guide. I was really surprised to see this one out already since Shulk's was yesterday. Guess that means i won't have to wait as long as I thought for the Dun-Dun one! Thanks for the amazing video.
Everyone else: we must use all of our arts strategically to take down tough bosses
Reyn: berserker magnum charge sword drive go brrrr
I already knew Reyn was powerful, but I didn't know he could be this insane. Bloody hell.
Oh boi cant wait for the Sharla one lol subbed so i dont miss it
Fun fact: The song that plays at the end of future connected when you are fighting the final boss is called 'The Conduit's Demise'. Perhaps the fog beasts are from the conduit but that doesn't really make too much sense since the conduit should be destroyed or at least powerless by this point. Anyways I thought it was interesting and just wanted to share this with people.
YEAH IM TURNIN UP THE HEAT

Great video, thanks Enel.
Your videos are great, and they remind me about tf2, specifically MvM mode. That game mode and Xenoblade share the fact that you have these huge monsters (in tf2 case, robots), and the focus is not to stay alive for the entirety of the fight, but to do as much damage as possible and to not get hit
Great video as always.
Discussing Reyn throughout the game (not just Endgame):
__
+Focus on leveling up Bone Upper first, since it's cool down is super short and it's animation is super fast, which means the damage increase with each level heavily increases Reyn's overall damage output.
___
Other notable arts:
-Hammer Beat really helps Reyn to draw aggro in the early and midgame.
Replace it once you get better arts.
war swing actually gets a super low cooldown at level 12, shorter than lariat and it still has nice aoe.
I love using Reyn so much! He's just so incredibly powerful and is just insanely indispensable and near necessary on my end game team.
Looking forward to the next one, this is a great series
That damage output is disgusting! I LOVE IT.
I want to say thank I'm at lvl 50 have the skill tree up but didnt know what skill link would fit best for ever character and this is going to help me out a lot
Thanks for the help setting him up. I think "Dive Sobat" was meant to be something like "Savate Dive", considering that Art Malos has.
"HEY SHARLA DID YOU SEE ME?! DID YOU SEE WHAT I DID?!"
"Oh..I..wasn't really looking..."
She didn't see because she's not allowed in the party after you get Dunban.
“Aw come on! That’s not fair...”
Just started the game and loving it
I'm about halfway through the video and I didn't see you mention that Berserker's Physical Defense Down is a debuff and can be resisted either through gems or skills.
I'm not gonna lie...I didn't even know this. that makes debuff resist even more useful on him LOL
@@EnelXC The same thing happens with Rage and Seven's Guard and Speed Shifts. This makes debuff resist 100% best put on them first.
@@EnelXC But it was written in the guide you made a reference to in the description. Hmm
Yep, makes Debuff Resist even better to have on him (and Seven too).
Take a shot everytime he mentions topple
5:49 Magnum Charge is actually an additive bonus. (x4.8 = +380%)
"NOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST CHEESE OUT THE GAME YOU BREAK THE FLOW OF THE GAME AND.."
Reyn: Berserker, magnum charge, sword drive go brrrrrrrr
Magnum charge is low key the overdrive of xc1
I like it how Reyn beats a level 100 unique enemy at level 1, and only levels up to level 2.
You know, it’s probably worth censoring Seven’s icon in the instances it occurs just so that people can watch it early game. Of course, this guide is clearly designed for postgame, but at the very least it would probably help with views. And this guide is still way more useful than most of the other guides out there for earlygame...
I'm gonna be honest with you I have absolutely no idea how to do that which is one of the major issues.
Hard to not be spoiled by a 10 year old game.
The original video game came out 10 years ago dude and Smash Bros straight up spoiled her
As long as the dude calls her Seven we good
Enel I was thinking you could just add in black boxes over Seven’s icons, which should be fairly easy, though if you’re saying that it’s probably harder than I thought.
Me before seeing the video: "no, you can't be OP with brute force only"
Me after seeing the video: "lol, strength go up"
How to use Reyn: shirtless
Always.
I absolutely loved this game and still love it till this day but I never got so deep into the combat. Thank you very much for all these explanations! :D
Final Marcus: You are no match for me, lvl 1 noob
Reyn: Haha You'll never walk again
'You can't have a rainbow without Reyn.'
These guides have been really useful so far, keep up the good work! Now I'm just wondering how you'll title the guide for Seven without spoiling anything lol
Yup, best channel for xenoblade content, love your work
"Man! am I good or am I good?"
I can't wait for him to explain how the hell I'm supposed to be using Riki in a coherent manner.
spam DPS ether attacks, then observe as the enemy slowly kills themselves.
he's basically a more supportive Melia... not as powerful nukes, but can heal and buff better.
A great Seme for Shulk.
I didn't use Reyn a lot in my first playthrough but after seeing this, you bet I'm gonna give him another shot
Damn. All this time even playing on the Wii,I thought of Reyn as a brick wall to soak up damage. Not so much as a fucking turret said wall is attached to.
level up that AoE early and it makes the first few areas so much easier when it is harder to control battles, that and his aggro grabber
Looking forward to this one, but especially Seven’s
I was of the opinion that Reyn wasn't very fun to play as since he's just supposed to soak up damage and aggro. However you sir have convinced me that he is in fact a mad lad. Good video!
Lots of people are tank mains
Like people always say, don't play Reyn as just a Face-Tank. You can play him like a Berserker.
I had no idea. I thought he’s just a very good meat shield.
Thanks man, your content is amazing.
I guess you can say, in Special Edition, it is finally *puts on shield gunlance* Reyn time.
One point to note, debuff resist gem nullifies defense down effect of berserker
Thank you for the videos I use them for the builds of your characters, I always suck at building characters lol
Xenoblade is one of my favorite RPGS, and maybe even top ten games of all time. But holy shit the Affinity Coin system is abhorrent I don't know what the fuck they were thinking making you play through the game 3+ times if you want to fill out your Skill Links with what you actually want
When I got DE I thought, man I should use Reyn this play through. I am so glad I did
I always love it when Enel goes into the details that Glaz wants
Wouldn't linking Riki's Strength Down debuff be redundant if you already have a debuff resist gem?
1:20
So basically one of his problems is that he´s too good
It's always Reyn Time!
Why this wasn't the first comment i saw is beyond me
i cant wait for the melia guide :D
Debuff Resist gem negates the downsides of Rage and Berserker.
Watch out, Enel. Sword Drive looks like a Reject Dial.
Alley-oop
Ah yes
Ryan
Dumb me saw berserker in the Wii version and thought "lowers defense? That's so bad for a tank!" Little did I know...
You madlad! Thanks again!
Final Marcus: I've fallen, and I can't get up!
Now it's REYN Time
